Kyo looks pained, right to the core. "I know. I know they lie." He handed her a tiny stuffed cat from his bag. "Here. Take care of her for me please. Her name is Tohru." He handed her the cat, "Please. Be careful, little one. And don't get hurt. Ok?" He offers her a hug.

BECAUSE ITS CUTE AND LORE. 

I came up with semi-furuba lore for my blatantly self insert character.

"Yeah, Tohru. If you ever really need help, or another hug, poke her in the tummy really hard. My bracelet will buzz and I'll know you called. Ok?" He squeezed her tight then let go and stood up. "Ok Jack. Lets get Erryin to.the lab then."

Then he stopped, staring into the depths of the blade's reflective surface. It struck him, suddenly. What he was doing. The Dreamsmith had named this Blade Cowardice. Truly, he had named it so. 

How. Malevolence wondered. Can I call myself a great villain if I merely skulk in the shadows? Evil is always unexpected, but true evil has no need to hide in fear.

Malevolence looked up at Ivisyre, a confidence returning to his eyes that had been absent since before the last absence of Nameless. "I must confess something. I created that vault, not just to keep the Lost Pages from Rebus, but because of the opportunity it would give me to claim them for myself. I, Malevolence, will be the one to summon the Witherlord. I will claim that power, and become the greatest evil this Thread has ever seen."

Unintelligible hesitated, then, slowly, shook his head. "Thank you for offering, but I think... think we can save her in time. If this cure doesn't work, then I'll take you up on your offer." Moving quickly but carefully, he scooped Sequence up in his arms. "Alright rabbit. Talk."

The rabbit huddled down in its cage, muscles tense.

"The one who controlled us... enslaved us... the Great One, the Dark One. He hides. Hides from us, from his former friends, from the eye of the Thread. But I... I know where he is."

An image blossomed in Ryver's mind. An image of a tall metal gate barring the pathway up towards a shadowed manor, dark clouds billowing overhead.

Unintelligible looked at Ryver. "Ryver? Can you take us there?"

"I can. Aelinor, take this." He placed a sunlight medallion on her neck. "You can shoot that with a mental command, and use a shield with another command. It only has 20 shots or 5 uses of the shield, and it isn't certain to kill someone if you hit. But it will injure them."

"Cadewyn, you coming or staying here to guard Sequence? Unintelligible, what do you think is better?"

Jack twisted his watch and they beamed to the lab with erryin. Dax looked up. "Oh hello dearies. What can I do- oh my who is this." He hurried over to erryin.

she backed away looking between him and Rebus. "I dont know. I don't know! Why does everyone wanna force me to do stuff. Why is this happening!" She started panicking until she clenched her fists and fell to her knees and a Shockwave threw everyone back @Dragonheir

Sequence murmured softly as Unintelligible lifted her. Her skin was a sickly sort of grey, and she looked smaller than normal. At least there was no sign of the black essence of the wound at her side seeping through her clothes yet. 

Aelinor looked down at the amulet and gave a curt nod of thanks to Ryver, brushing it gently with her one remaining thumb. She would likely need prosthetics to ever wield a sword again… Bother.

Ivisyre watched Malevolence closely, their expression blank. “Daring,” they remarked, idly pushing some of their power into Inversion. The sword began to buzz softly and glow. “Is that truly all that motivates you? Becoming the ‘Greatest Evil’?”
