Well… it had been nice having a friend while it had lasted. She slumped on her swing, feeling rather glum.

She could always go looking for him . . . :P

Holt was far too terrified to go back, so he hid in one of the many trees he'd grown and watched in her general direction, just in case she happened to come that way.

She curled up and smiled slightly.

He smiled back.

Suddenly, a voice echoed through the room. "It is time. Meet me at the bottom, and find your freedom, and the truth."

The room dissolved, leaving them in the middle of a rocky valley. Above, storm clouds hovered, and rain poured down, but it was the wind that bothered Amethyst the most. It lashed against him, flaying him and leaving his skin red and raw. Amethyst was used to hard conditions, but this was unlikely anything he had experienced before.

Khione panicked. "What- where- how-" she stuttered, her breathing quickening and her face draining of color

Amethyst gasped. It was... so full. The walls were gone, and a whole world was there.

"Are.. you okay?" he said, wincing from the wind.

She began to rock back and forth, panicked and confused, shaking her head at him. She hadn't seen the real world. Not from what she could remember

Amethyst had. He had been in storms like this, but could not remember his memories of that. He looked helplessly towards Mist.

"Neither... neither have I." That he could actively recall. "We should get out of this wind."

She seemed fine. A little startled, but fine.

She looked around for cover.

Halfway up the rocky hill, was a small crevice that looked large enough to fit the three of them.

Amethyst looked around. "C'mon." he sighed.

Mist grabbed her and pulled her towards the crevice.

She whimpered slightly, scared of what could be inside. "Why are you-" she began, stopping herself before saying something she didn't want to
