Beosta’s heightened perception caught it and she jumped at Shoe, slamming him to the ground. The arrows flew harmlessly over their heads. “Maybe we need shields or something.”

The arrow Beosta was holding exploded, setting off a chain reaction exploding every arrow near them.

I guess they'll still explode, but they're further away.

He shuddered. Definitely don't want to be hit by those.

I guess they'll still explode, but they're further away.

Shoe heard the first explosion, then turned to see the arrowheads exploding.

He shuddered. Definitely don't want to be hit by those.

The flames began to spread throughout the woods, setting the trees and undergrowth on fire.

Cricket stared in shock at the battle. Why am I standing here? I should be fighting. They're here for me, he thought, attacking the nearest hunter with his knife, quickly defeating the hunter. He stared in shock at the body, and how quickly he had killed.

Platypus parried it with his Luxblade while attacking with Vengeance, timing his attack so that it would hit as the Ennuller landed.

I'm assuming because Ennullers don't talk, or rather, because they talk in Silence. They're Silent, kinda like mimes?

Clemency quickly wrote the location as "The area with the most Chaotic energy that is currently active. There are several Narrators, and the Ennuller is busy fighting Platypus, not Nullifying their powers. Platypus thinks it's a field and it seems to be a newish location on the Thread."

Beosta was impressed by his foresight. She toggled her crossblade and all the little blades she'd shot already lurched toward it. One clipped the leg of a fighter dude, and the other lodged in the Ennuler's back just below his shoulder blade.

Very close! But there's a little more to it than that. 

The Ennullers began the process of figuring out what location that was exactly.

Beosta was even faster than Livetha could make her now. She gave all of her natural speed back to Livetha so she could be speedy too.
