He’s a useless side character, mate. He ain’t much important. Most likely Ryss killed him or he died by suicide. Either way, he’s gone from TLT now.

Noooo!

Subversion got back from her visit to the Dreamsmith looking contemplative. "All right Platypus, I agree. We can give the Dreamsmith the Once-Author's belongings after he dies again. In fact, I think I'll even give him that Mordite blade once I win it off of you."

"You seem very confidant for someone who lost to Thaid."

"Well you won't be there to decide where it goes. Unless you pull a Thaidakar."

Subversion smiled "I have a secret weapon. And no, it's not that sphere. Still haven't found that. Not that I need the sphere or my other secret weapon; the only edge you have over me is Vengeance. Ordered light beings, if that is indeed what you've become, are much more limited than Narrators."

"Please don't pull a Thaidakar, it's annoying."

Platypus smirked. "You really think that's the only edge? You really haven't learned, have you? Remember how Vengeance is the most powerful, in part because of its limited scope? The same is true for me."

"What are you going to do, create me to death? Ordered light beings can be effective against Withergeists and other similar creatures, but fighting a Narrator? We didn't even exist until they fell. In fact, they fell mostly because one of them was trying to become a Narrator. Although he didn't really know it at the time."

Platypus smirked. "It's going to be so fun to wipe that self-confidence off your face. Creation is much more than you believe. While you control matter, I shape reality itself. What you change, I create. You seem to think, incorrectly i might add, that I can't fight you. That could not be farther from the truth. How do you think the Witherlord didn't take over before Narrators lived? Do you think the Enullers, which didn't exist, stopped him? No. It was Ordered Light. What allows your Author to write this? Ordered Light shaping their world. You won't win," Platypus finished with conviction.

Subversion smirked back. "Believe what you want. I'll beat you regardless."

"See you at the duel then." He disappeared, then Hacob appeared in his place, and he started poking Subversion.

Subversion smiled at Hacob. "Hi Hacob. Nice to see a character of mine doing so well. Do you want me to kill everyone close to you in the most agonizing way possible?"

Hacob poked her harder. "I'm not your character. You made me, but I'm not yours. And... that would involve killing at least three beings that are near-impossible to kill, along with yourself."

Subversion ignored the poking. "Don't worry. I don't plan to kill Platypus in our duel. Or myself. Who's the third being?"

I have proven that I am definitely now one of those near impossibles to kill…

"Well, there's the Once-Author, there's Kilometers, the ally, etc."
