Meanwhile Rond activated the fabrial. 

Thaidakar felt a ripping sensation, he screamed. Thaidakar appeared in Rond's lab. Rond immediately got to work on Thaidakar.

Meanwhile in Thaidakar's head, Thaidakar appeared in a large white room. "where am I?" asked Thaidakar to noone in particular.

Thaidakar turned abruptly, who was that? but behind him was the person he didn't want to see the most. it was a younger version of himself.

Thaidakar turned abruptly, who was that? but behind him was the person he didn't want to see the most. it was a younger version of himself.

Meanwhile, Nameless had finished chopping Rond into mincemeat, and was busily hacking all the equipment attached to Thaidakar to pieces.

Thaidakar shook his head, "no, I have become a god, I am a narrator, I am powerful, I can't die. what else could I possibly do to become better?"

Darren nodded.

Thaidakar's expression grew dark, "no, that can't be true. it's impossible. (Impossible laughed). the past is mine to control, I wield it."

Rond rolled his eyes, "pathetic? no, I have healed those who have asked for it. I have put good kings or queens on thrones. I have saved lives. I have made friends. far more than you have ever done Nameless." 

Darren sighed in finality, "well Thaidakar, if you won't admit it, let me show you." Darren touched Thaidakar's temples before he could respond.

Thaidakar appeared as a ghost above his memories. Darren's voice entered his ethereal head, "now I will show you your weakness."
