Noctis gazes around, the lush green grass engulfing the plain he stepped foot in. (Or is it paw?) The blue sky, complimented with fuzzy balls of white is overhead, staring right down at him. A jolt runs through his tail, creating a small electricity bolt throughout his body. Shaking it off, Noctis continues walking, waiting for something to come upon him. "This is beautiful," he commented, as Noctis pondered about new beginnings.

The snake (this thing is like 15 metres long, by the way) hissed again, and tried slithering towards Olivarino.

"Teleporter?" Viridis muttered. Interesting.

But that didn't change the fact that he needed to reach the pool before anyone else did. He looked around and saw that none of the larger branches near him were close enough to the ones on nearby trees for him to jump, and he didn't dare climb higher, lest the eagles catch him.

However, it looked like one of the other people might've had the snake immobilised; Viridis decided to wait to see if it try was.

Kiornight lent closer as Olivarino seemed to produce strange white threads that wound around the snake, though from this distance, it was difficult to determine what they were made from. He'd have to keep note of that.

The fireflies he had used to cut the mushroom earlier were flickering dangerously; he sent them away from the rest of the swarm before any spores on them could spread. Ideally, no one else would be infected, but if it slowed someone down, who was he to complain?

How did the pirates know? This was far too many people, Viridis knew; someone must've found this place a while ago, almost immediately after he'd last left.

"I..." Viridis wanted to help, but he had to reach the pool first, before the swarm creature. It was probably well ahead of him by now, and he couldn't afford to waste anymore time. Someone who couldn't accelerate their metabolism would only slow him down, but seeing her like this...

"Sure," he said finally, then cursed inwardly. He nodded towards the snake below. "We wait to see if the Tyrannoserpens is really immobilised."

A sweating Olivarino fell to his knees. It had been long since he'd had to produce this much mycelium at once. I should have trained more instead of spending all my day at the microscope, he scolded himself. But the result was worth it. The giant snake - probably Tyranoserpens, although it could also be a Brobdingnag Python from what he could see - was completely stuck. It hissed, and wrestled against its prison, but it couldn't get out. Good, since Olivarino wouldn't be able to replicate this feat for at least a few hours.

He turned towards the girl, while still looking around for his case.

"Listen, kid. This is a dangerous place. I can help you back to civilization, I've got a boat somewhere around here. But first, I need to get my case. It contains what I've come here for." If he couldn't find it, then all those days on this island would have been for naught.

She nodded and handed him a device. "Think of case, click button."

The woman nodded gratefully, dark hair shifting in a cool breeze. As the snake below seemed fully immobilized, she hopped down from the tree, climbing to the ground below.

The Witherlord tilted his head. “I know Rebus well. He and I have… a history. But your knowledge will be welcome nonetheless,  particularly pertaining to the Kimo labs and other organizations.”

At that moment, something came upon him. In particular, a booted foot. More specifically, a rather fast moving booted foot. More clearly, a fast moving booted foot attached to a child hurrying across the field, who in his haste had not noticed Pikachu until it was too late. The child tripped, crying out as he fell headlong into a tuft of grass.

Viridis followed the woman down, but tried to keep himself as hidden as possible from the others with his cloak, using it to blend into the surrounding foliage. He jumped when he saw the swarm creature, and hoped that it hadn't seen him.

"This way," he whispered to the woman as he began slowly walking inland.

He knew he'd have to stop soon; the sun was beginning to set, but he had to get as close as possible to the pool with the remaining daylight.

Kiornight watched the snake fall still, then set off again, buzzing faintly. Above the canopy, fewer plants appeared actively malevolent, but biting insects dove in and out of the swarm, snatching at the fireflies. Most lived, but Kiornight had to avoid wincing at each new airborne predator. Whose idea had it been to create birds that bloodthirsty?

Beneath him, the two shadowed figures left their trees, but it was difficult for Kiornight to distinguish them at this distance. The man and girl were still beside the snake, conversing in low voices. He would leave them to it; anyone too loud would only attract more attention.

Alright I should've said more on this earlier, but this island has very low animal biodiversity, with a very strange collection of species

The only insect species native to the island are Hercules Beetles, Leafcutter Ants, Army Ants, the Blue Morpho Butterfly (and an endoparasitic sister species that doesn't exist IRL) and Asian Giant Hornets

As for birds, well... there's really only the (not real) invisible eagles.

I should've told y'all of this earlier, I'll create a wiki page for the island with a list of fauna. The flora and fungi are what's expected of a rainforest.

Holding his head, the child placed his hands firmly onto the ground and pushed himself up. He'd heard of these unnatural creatures, and didn't want any business with them. Even though he was mesmerized with the rumoured powers the creatures held, he sprinted across the field, hiding behind a tree, watching the creature's next move.

Noctis was stuck in a bundle of grass, (I had to change the name because @KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren said it's unoriginal and I can't do it?) contemplating what had just happened. He rolled over, quickly back on his feet. "What was that?" he questioned, wondering who would do such a thing. Scratching his yellow head, another jolt of electricity passed through him, waiting to strike on whoever came at him next. He couldn't see his previous assailant, and wanted to set things right.

Strolling across the vast, sparsely populated island, he waited for his next challenge, wishing for adrenaline. Trees dotted the plain, a great source of shade when the sun beat down in summer. Noctis wished for such a season, but instead, he was met with the bloom of spring, which brought stinging bees.

Set in what Pokemon knows as the Kanto region. (I know it's unoriginal, but I have plans). Ash exists somewhere, but no one knows where. His legend still lives on, and his Pikachu (now all Pikachu are called Noctis) ran off, ashamed to be with another trainer and despises humans. One of the most sought-after Pokemon by trainers, this Noctis is M.I.A, but hopefully he comes back soon - as a horror is about to unravel the ancient secrets of the land.
