    Holding his head, the child placed his hands firmly onto the ground and pushed himself up. He'd heard of these unnatural creatures, and didn't want any business with them. Even though he was mesmerized with the rumoured powers the creatures held, he sprinted across the field, hiding behind a tree, watching the creature's next move. Noctis was stuck in a bundle of grass, (I had to change the name because @KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren said it's unoriginal and I can't do it?) contemplating what had just happened. He rolled over, quickly back on his feet. "What was that?" he questioned, wondering who would do such a thing. Scratching his yellow head, another jolt of electricity passed through him, waiting to strike on whoever came at him next. He couldn't see his previous assailant, and wanted to set things right. Strolling across the vast, sparsely populated island, he waited for his next challenge, wishing for adrenaline. Trees dotted the plain, a great source of shade when the sun beat down in summer. Noctis wished for such a season, but instead, he was met with the bloom of spring, which brought stinging bees. Set in what Pokemon knows as the Kanto region. (I know it's unoriginal, but I have plans). Ash exists somewhere, but no one knows where. His legend still lives on, and his Pikachu (now all Pikachu are called Noctis) ran off, ashamed to be with another trainer and despises humans. One of the most sought-after Pokemon by trainers, this Noctis is M.I.A, but hopefully he comes back soon - as a horror is about to unravel the ancient secrets of the land.

    Noctis gazes around, the lush green grass engulfing the plain he stepped foot in. (Or is it paw?) The blue sky, complimented with fuzzy balls of white is overhead, staring right down at him. A jolt runs through his tail, creating a small electricity bolt throughout his body. Shaking it off, Noctis continues walking, waiting for something to come upon him. "This is beautiful," he commented, as Noctis pondered about new beginnings.

    Been a while since I updated my journey towards finishing the Cosmere:

    Finished The Way of Kings, Warbreaker and Words of Radiance! @KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren told me I have to read all of Mistborn Era 2 before Rhythm of War? And I've gotten Oathbringer and Alloy of Law to read!

    OMG. TWoK was amazing, Kaladin's character development was substantial and pretty interesting. Although, I really wanted to read ONLY his parts, and skip Shallan, but after WoR, she's become like the saving grace for EVERY STORMING CHARACTER. Then Warbreaker wasn't that bad (idk y people flame it??) and the storyline is insane. Also, thanks to @KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren I know that Zahel is Vasher? Thanks for the spoilers...

    Anyway, to WoR. Holy rust. Amazing storyline and character development, although the resolution was boring... Hero of Ages was MUCH better. And the fight between Szeth and Kaladin could've been lengthened... AND SZETH GOT GIVEN NIGHTBLOOD WHAT THE STORMS. And we got some more radiants!!

    Overall insane lineup of books so far, and really liking Brandon's writing style.

    Update in my journey to finish the Cosmere: Read some short stories in Arcanum Unbounded and getting my hands on the Way of Kings (Part 1 & 2) soon. I've read the Scadrian, Selish and Taldain System Essays, the 11th Metal, the Hope of Elantris and Emperor's Soul. 

    I loved the new magic system introduced in Emperor's Soul but am a little bit confused on the 11th Metal story:

    Why does the 11th Metal have a singular mention of the notes for the 11th Metal? It's more about Kelsier's training and starting to fight Mistborns. I was slightly let down, as I really wanted to find out how Kelsier found out about the 11th Metal and got it (exactly found out, I know it's in the keep's notes but still)

      Yeah, it is pretty funny/weird that The Eleventh Metal doesn't actually have much to do with the metal it's named after. 

      It was originally written to be included with the Mistborn Adventure Game (aka the original Mistborn RPG by Crafty Games) as a primer on the magic and world for people who weren't familiar with the books. That's why it goes over all that stuff again and has a pretty small scope.

    As the descendant of Adonalsium, Pika (my name) is the proclaimed savior of the 16 Shards of Adonalsium. I summon them and hyperjump to Calisto with Doomslug. With my infinite Investiture, I snatch the sandwich from the random clone and hide in the galaxy - location undisclosed. (ik it doesn't work like that, but idc) and I know everything, the past, present and future. I know the future of this thread, and everything will trace back to me, Pika.

    Because I stabbed @Through The Living KSauce with a hemalurgic spike, his characters are MINE. So I take command of his characters and they hand me the sandwich graciously, and defend me with their life, leaving Through The Living KSauce with nothing.

    I am a Pikachu - soooooooo u kinda know what my favourite Pokemon is Although how do you guys like the new Pokemon Horizons Series - I watched a few episodes and it is kinda terrible (my opinion). Maybe I'm just nostalgic of Ash and the first Pokemon Series. No one I know likes Pokemon as much as I do
