Pikachu gazes around, the lush green grass engulfing the plain he stepped foot in. (Or is it paw?) The blue sky, complimented with fuzzy balls of white is overhead, staring right down at him. A jolt runs through his tail, creating a small electricity bolt throughout his body. Shaking it off, Pikachu continues walking, waiting for something to come upon him. "This is beautiful," he commented, as Pikachu pondered about new beginnings.

The snake (this thing is like 15 metres long, by the way) hissed again, and tried slithering towards Olivarino.

"Teleporter?" Viridis muttered. Interesting.

But that didn't change the fact that he needed to reach the pool before anyone else did. He looked around and saw that none of the larger branches near him were close enough to the ones on nearby trees for him to jump, and he didn't dare climb higher, lest the eagles catch him.

However, it looked like one of the other people might've had the snake immobilised; Viridis decided to wait to see if it try was.

Kiornight lent closer as Olivarino seemed to produce strange white threads that wound around the snake, though from this distance, it was difficult to determine what they were made from. He'd have to keep note of that.

The fireflies he had used to cut the mushroom earlier were flickering dangerously; he sent them away from the rest of the swarm before any spores on them could spread. Ideally, no one else would be infected, but if it slowed someone down, who was he to complain?

How did the pirates know? This was far too many people, Viridis knew; someone must've found this place a while ago, almost immediately after he'd last left.

"I..." Viridis wanted to help, but he had to reach the pool first, before the swarm creature. It was probably well ahead of him by now, and he couldn't afford to waste anymore time. Someone who couldn't accelerate their metabolism would only slow him down, but seeing her like this...

"Sure," he said finally, then cursed inwardly. He nodded towards the snake below. "We wait to see if the Tyrannoserpens is really immobilised."

"i know a fair bit about weaknesses and the plans of people who seek to destroy you. Specifically weak points of rebus. And how to exploit him and possibly all of kimo labs and other organizations as them."

A sweating Olivarino fell to his knees. It had been long since he'd had to produce this much mycelium at once. I should have trained more instead of spending all my day at the microscope, he scolded himself. But the result was worth it. The giant snake - probably Tyranoserpens, although it could also be a Brobdingnag Python from what he could see - was completely stuck. It hissed, and wrestled against its prison, but it couldn't get out. Good, since Olivarino wouldn't be able to replicate this feat for at least a few hours.

He turned towards the girl, while still looking around for his case.

"Listen, kid. This is a dangerous place. I can help you back to civilization, I've got a boat somewhere around here. But first, I need to get my case. It contains what I've come here for." If he couldn't find it, then all those days on this island would have been for naught.

She nodded and handed him a device. "Think of case, click button."

The woman nodded gratefully, dark hair shifting in a cool breeze. As the snake below seemed fully immobilized, she hopped down from the tree, climbing to the ground below.

The Witherlord tilted his head. “I know Rebus well. He and I have… a history. But your knowledge will be welcome nonetheless,  particularly pertaining to the Kimo labs and other organizations.”

At that moment, something came upon him. In particular, a booted foot. More specifically, a rather fast moving booted foot. More clearly, a fast moving booted foot attached to a child hurrying across the field, who in his haste had not noticed Pikachu until it was too late. The child tripped, crying out as he fell headlong into a tuft of grass.
