You have questions?” He tipped a nonexistent hat. “Friendly neighborhood Scribe, at your service.” He looked to @Aeoryi. “You mean to say that you summoned the Whitherlord? Woah. I’ve a friend confronting them now, but it’s a bit inactive, I’m afraid.” salt gasped gasped forward hugging him tightly. For... well confusing reasons as he had brief interactions with salt.

A little, small bug thing fell from his mouth, growing in size until it resembled a figure, disfigured. The Scribe froze. The figure, disfigured, spoke. ”I may be able to help here. I am proxy for the Eldritch Author, itirSp.” The figure, disfigured, smiled. “Currently, I have one Plotblade, Retcon. If I perform a ritual to assume ownership of the actions that summoned the Witherlord, I can use the Plotblade to banish it. I had attempted to give myself an in to this process, but it didn’t quite work. I’ll have to start at square one, and need access to Nameless’ mind space.” The figure, disfigured, offered a phone. “I’ll keep in touch with the two of you.” It nodded, then disappeared. The Scribe unfroze, confused. “Sorry, I… I think I lost my lunch there.” He laughed. ”What were we talking about?”

Night observes the exchange. Well, it was always her role to support those who would rise up in the Thread. It seemed that her schedule would just have to be accelerated. But who was new to the Thread? The pair of Vlanis and Mistair had already resolved their arcs. Ennalee seemed to be on some sort of an arc, although both doing much at the moment. She also had no idea what the Scribe was doing, or the figure disfigured. Night longed for the days of cold wars with the Wind over Bob. Perhaps Kevin, or Harold? What really seemed to be threatening the Thread was the looming apathy. It stunk of Flaws, who seemed to be killing Authors here by giving them better things to do. Awful. If she were to save the Thread, not just from entropy, but from the Witherlord afterwards, she would need a dynamic character, new to the Thread. An idea struck her. “But what characters hate each other?”, Night mused aloud.
