Nor was he aware of the Guardian of the Plot who stalked him from above, perhaps one of the most dangerous ones of them all.

It’s Plot Magic. I’d say it can mess with his memory, but it’s up to you.
9/10mmHB#2 watches as Godslayer turns to face the Witherlord, and moves a safe distance away before reaching into Inkwell’s pantry with a Roft and stealing his snacks to watch with. He is not copying Rebus. He is already here.

Plot magic, absolutely. Jack runs on Plot magic. Jack blinked. That was weird. Could he do that, since he was made from metal? He was made from metal?! If Jack could breathe, he would have begun to hyperventilate.

It wasn't Rebus, in fact. He would be wearing a coat, and being a little less silly. Smiling, Heir offered 9/1000mHB#2 some popcorn.

Asharak stayed wound up. The Blade at his side calmed slightly, its vibrations becoming less intense. "Um..."

Rebus glanced at him, similarly perplexed. Either he'd soon feel rather silly, or something was about to violently explode.

Another figure followed him, stalking the tree monster. A lumberjack, evidently.

The man looked up to Jack pleadingly. He seemed to be calmer than the rest.

The tree monster had begun to slink away, but now saw a new opportunity for prey. It grinned, splintery teeth bereft of any surrounding flesh.

Jack looked back, eyes staring off into the space beyond him.

Seamus groaned in frustation. "You say you can help." he glanced at Lyric. "You . . . I don't understand you . . ." he sighed, looking at Jack, "and you . . . whatever." he waved at Iromem. "My son is missing. He could be dead, or dying. Please focus."

You’re something else

9/1000mHB#2 has heard this one before- wait, no! He won’t be nicknamed by another author! He won’t be nicknamed by his own author! This was getting ridiculous. He politely refused the popcorn- never was good to storm off an Authorial Avatar.

——

Iromem sighed and took the coin from Seamus, dropping it before it could work on him. “If he’s alive, we’ll find him. I’ll help you.” He rips a corner from his robe and uses it to pick up the coin, tying it in a knot. “I think I’ll hold onto this for now.”
——

Hey, by the way, for all you TLTers I interact with a lot, I’m thinking of changing my username, the first being a really not well thought out Nightblood joke that just makes me sound weird. How does Verdance sound?

"The converter is trying to turn the Prismite into Prismite. Since Prismite is already Prismite, this does nothing." Rebus slowly nodded his head. "If the way this is set up makes sense, the point directly opposite should do what we want."

It's actually a reference to this trope.

But I expect Fog is capable of morphing into a dragon if she so wishes.

"I could search for him." Lyric reluctantly volunteered. He wondered if the man was seeing things, seeing as they'd simply walked up to the ruined temple. "If he survived, I can find him. If he perished... I hope he is merely dead."

Lyric looked at Jack curiously. "Friend Jack? Are you alright?"

Subversion shot Rebus a sideways glance."...While you're there, would you mind asking Onyx if Nogard is around?" She pointedly turned away to hide her expression from Rebus. "I need to... speak with him."

The Witherlord appeared behind God Slayer in all his glory. In his hands he held Malevolence, a dark blade that seemed to suck in the light. Shadows deepened around him, and the stars above winked out.

"Hello there. I understand you think you can defeat me?"

Xino would be, since it's his character's domain.

God Slayer promptly left.

Rebus thought for a moment. “It depends upon whether they’re willing to help. Other than myself, Fog, Atlas, Cep, and Hiro, if you can simply start a conversation with a Narrator it will bring us closer to what is needed.”

"Who are the other Narrators?"

Funny silly.

So it reads intent, no matter who you are or what you do, so long as its good intent your safe. Bad intent or bad actions and your hit by the blade, no matter who you are or how strong you are, apathetic or incapable of emotion, you will feel the emotional pain you have caused anyone else by your actions. Like even if you never met the person you still feel the pain of the victims relatives or friends. Say someone kills Ben without knowing atlas, they will still feel atlas pain in full force, plus anyone else who Ben cared about.

they growl. "first of all, I am not your godamned sibling, second of all im not a girl!" They shout and shove her back.

atlas followed him and tightened her grip on the blade.

-

Cyrus tightened his fist. "Damn Narrators. what do you want wilson."

Dax sighed. "Its best if dr clarke explains it."

-

She hummed. "I have something thar might help, or at least stop the spread. I dont trust it or whatever happens if it reaches your heart."

She turned back to the computer and hit some buttons till the ship lurched and took off. @Shatter

wait a sec. OH STORMS. WE AREN'T ON BOARD. we bailed due to the attack. well rust me

Ryna watched the ship take off while Eli, herself, and the rest of the crew were still on the ground. Ryna glanced at Eli and realized she hadn't noticed yet. Ryna took a mirror out of her pocket and flashed it at the ship to get Rebyl's attention. She really wasn't sure who was fighting whom. She'd have to figure it out, but she was pretty sure Rebyl was good. She liked Rebyl.

Slowing down time so events worked correctly, Rebus summoned his Narrationblade. His grip wasn't loose by any means, but it was wasn't nearly as tight as Atlas's. "Plotblades are magic - you don't need to worry about dropping them, and they'll cut through almost anything. Yours especially only needs to make contact, so the way you hold it should prioritize speed over force. Like this." He flicked his wrist, and the sword cut swiftly through the air.

-

Rebus smiled, beginning his explaining. "I assume you're familiar with the Essences: Chaotic Light, Ordered Light, Ordered Dark, and Chaotic Dark. While Narrators and Ennullers - the beings affiliated with Chaotic Light and Ordered Dark - are quite powerful, most Withergeists are frankly pathetic. Part of that is due to their numbers, but the true reason for their lack of power is that it's all concentrated in a single entity." Rebus projected a hologram of what he had seen - what had once been Malevolence, surrounded by a thousand blades of darkness. "The Witherlord."

-

Rebus nodded. "Thank you."

-

Wither-amoeba-Rebus's eyes widened. Mordite carapace erupted from his skin as the grenades went off - the force of the explosions cracked it, sending bits of metal, nanotech, and flesh to the floor. "Ow." he said, sounding perfectly human as his face knit back together.

She loosened her grip and mimicked what he did, though she promply stumbled cause she wasnt sure what to do with her other hand.

-

Cyrus frowned, “i see. So you need my help working with you all to defeat him?”

-

she set the computer down, “come on the stuff is in the medbay.” She said walking off the helm and down below deck.

-

three more went off on every side of him.

She twitches, and the manic grin returns. "Tell me, she says, slowly strolling around Erryin, "what do you want my brother for?"

erryins face turned to confusion but didnt stumble, “i want him for nothing? I want him because i care about him and his wellbeing.”

Aeryn shakes her head. "No. No." She shakes it more violently. "NO!" She glares at Erryin. "Whatever you want, go ahead and take it." She crouches slightly, knife held to the side.

Cep makes indeterminable grunting sounds, as if he's trying to talk.

Yeah my current character is heavily based off of Jinx (especially the jerky movement rn), with a little bit of Azula thrown in (not that they're much different)
