The Magenta head let out a growl. "Malevolence..." Center head said, "Join us..." Green fire started to trickle up the arm that was holding Malevolence, slowly but surely making its way towards the hand that held the Withergeist. "Become one of the Guardians of the Plot..." Magenta added, sizzling with electric power. "It is our Prophecy..." Center said, "We need more capable fighters like you to regather the remnants of the Plot." "Join us!" Magenta and Center both screamed in unison. Malevolence coughed, struggling to free himself. "What-" He choked out. "What does joining you entail? What are the remnants of Plot?" Malevolence is not a Withergeist by the way. "Well now, fine sirees. What brings you adventr'rs to my fine est'blishment?" Lyric took a step backwards and turned to Jack, an expression of utmost horror on his face. He leaned in close to his friend and whispered. "I have just remembered something. Since danger was great, and kelp and sea slugs clearly belonged in the ocean, they were. Omen would probably be fine - Meat had no money, after all, and couldn’t pay his - but Mischief might be just like the music. Omen was a many-tentacled monstrosity in a moment, ever shifting in size. Is this, he wondered, Meat's way of fighting Mischief?

But Rose . . . he hadn't seen her in months, since her Author had retreated, but he held her in his heart dearly. She was everything to him, the reason he was continuing to fight back. "Rebus." he replied, his voice shockingly firm despite his indecision. "I .. . I'll do it." Rebus smiled, watching from far away. I’ll disable the self destruct once you succeed. You have my word. Twinstorm is of course responsible for Cricket’s part - when we get to the part on the actual Thread I shall do far more paraphrasing. - The nanomachines were numerous and clever - while many died out at first, restoring true feeling to Asharak’s leg, those that remained were unharmed and began to multiply once again. To clarify, the nanomachines are trying to mess with the physical portion of Asharak’s brain relating to the Mindscape. Ok this is legit cool - The nanites encountered significant resistance, as the connections were many and durable. As they began to slowly fray away at them, Asharak focused his energy on that region, attempting to burn them away.

You’re the expert on Mordite weapons- I’m curious, what are Darkseeker’s properties? im trying to clearly define Futility’s new properties- from what I can tell, mordite always kills if it touches the soul in the same what shardblades damage the soul if they cut in enough. It also always heavily damages the body. I think for continuity’s sake, Futility isn’t a pure mordite blade, but is now ink perfectly imitating the physical properties of mordite with actual mordite dispersed within the material, like an alloy, so it would be… diluted? But I’m curious as to any other magic things the material can do, since I’ve seen Darkseeker do some pretty awesome stuff. Spoiler Quote Atreides sighed. "He's a wild card.
