He's supposed to be some big evil villain, I believe... But I find him to be quite agreeable... Usually?" Sequence shook her head. "Twelve hundred pages? Goodness, it has been a while..." Sequence rubbed her forehead wearily. "Well, glad you're back!" "So am I." Moni brushed brown hair out of her face and looked at Sequence closely. "Are you doing alright? You look a little bit... unwell. 5 hours ago, Dragonheir said: The false Dreamsmith faced his counterpart and nodded solemnly. “I thank you.” Then he disappeared from the workshop, traveling through the dream realm until he was fairly certain nobody was following. He faded from the dream realm into the ordinary world, appearing in a shadowy alleyway. Then the false Dreamsmith brought his hand to his forehead, and peeled off the fake skin, revealing its fully mechanical face beneath. Putting the disguise in its satchel, Pilot smiled. Now all he had left to do was deliver the Evergear. The Dreamsmith watched these proceedings from his workshop. "So... An automaton." He fiddled with Reverie. "Ah, to think of the challenge of forging for a soulless entity? Perhaps there will be time before..." He sighed, trailing off. "No, I cannot afford to dwell on it. I need to be focused, now more than ever." He turned, placing Reverie on his workbench. With a few modifications... Yes, it could work quite well. "Omen?" Called the Dreamsmith. "I have a task for you." 5 hours ago, Dragonheir said: Meanwhile, Jack was smiling as well - though he still looked ready to bolt. “I am Jack,” he said, fumbling with his hat for a second before tipping it. “I was at a party; once it ended I did not know where to go.” "So you're not looking for the legendary fountain of youth?" Lyric said in surprise. "Odd. Most adventurers I see around here are very interested in that fountain." He narrowed his eyes. "Come to think of it, a robot wouldn't have much use for a fountain of youth anyways." 5 hours ago, Dragonheir said: “Inspection,” whispered Kion, making sure the door really was legitimately a way out. Seconds earlier, he stepped through - unfortunately, his friends were blurred and immobile, and though he tried to tow them through behind him, his fingers passed through their wrists. He emerged somewhere he recognized - the very location of the last party, and the last time he’d felt so strangely detached from reality. The portal was genuine, of course. And considering Kion was at least on the right planet, surely he could find his way to the party before his Render caught up to him.

Frowning, he instead tucked it into a pocket, in the hopes it would be useful later. The light from the nanomachines seemed to flare up from nowhere, appearing when they actually moved and then disappearing again when they cooled down - for this sort of thing caused a lot of friction. Unfortunately for Named, they were heat resistant - devices made from antimatter have to be - and formed a layer of charred nanobots that stymied combustion. Nope - Rebus gave the humans weapons soaked in antiseptic and insecticide, but I don’t think anything has connected. This worked perfectly well - the head was knocked clean off, and began crumbling out of existence as it lay on the floor. The rest of the robot, though, lunged forwards and splashed a mix of antiseptic and insecticide towards the golden skeleton. Rebus swept his hand to the side - though in truth, the movement was unnecessary - and the air turned solid in front of the axe’s haft as utility fog locked together. This would hopefully stop it in its tracks - and might even snap it in two, if Rebus was lucky. “Do you both recognize I could kill you in an instant? Even following the rules, the only reason I haven’t already killed you is because I want your allegiance. So please, give up - it will likely save both of us time and effort.” As he spoke, he connected telepathically to Mischief. Did you kill any of the three important ones? I need to apply the right Banes so I can convert them back. Antiseptic and insecticide? By human, do you mean us? Named grinned. "I don't know why I'm here in the first place," he said. "But you want an allegiance? With me?" He chuckled. "What would you gain from that?"

The room suddenly opened up, the boards of wood distorting and blending with the air to make all sorts of vibrant colors and sparkly patterns, as vines and flowers suddenly sprouted and reached up into the sky... Sequence shrugged. 16 hours ago, Dragonheir said: Rebus smiled graciously, though on his head Antagonist was practically humming with malevolent energy. “Excellent… Great Elephant and Thread, take me to safety, take me to solace. I promise no violence, and I promise civility; grant me entrance to Sequence’s World.” Rebus found himself transported to the party cabin on Sequence's world! It was a larger, more open cabin with a massive deck, something of a boardwalk almost that extended out onto the crystal blue lake a bit. It was all lit with warm lantern light, and stars and strange constellations were visible up above in the night sky. There were a few people on the deck, but not many. Sequence appeared, looking Rebus up and down and smiling. "Rebus." She said with a slight nod. "Have you been well?" 10 hours ago, NameIess said: "So am I." I don't have any grass in here, thankfully. But if anything starts to bother you, just let me know, okay?" She made her way to the door at the back of the living room, walking down the hallway and opening the first door on the right. The room inside had a bed, a dresser, a vanity, and a comfy chair in the corner, with a simple chandelier on the ceiling and one window with a magnificent view of the mountains around the cabin. Sequence looked at the space thoughtfully. "We can always change anything if you don't like it..." Sequence nodded in understanding, rocking in her chair. "I get that. Things can be busy!" Sequence reached under her rocking chair and grabbed a wicker basket, that seemed to appear from nowhere. She opened it, and took some bags of tea leaves out and placed them on a table between them. "Here! Some tea, I grow it myself. Feel free to take as much as you'd like!" "Ah! Thank you." Erdikan inspected the bags and took a few, stashing them for later.
