I was at a party where that song came on as people were dancing and they completely drowned out the song, they were singing it so loud

Utility suddenly felt a strange, bubbly feeling in his chest.

He cracked a smile and raised his glass.

@Terrisman "Wonderful! Perhaps you like to say a few words? Or perhaps not, either is fine." Folen took a sip of his drink.

"I don't have anything to say in particular, no. But . . . thank you."

"Sure, though I haven't really done anything . . ." The bells on his hat jingled as he tipped the drink back, finishing it in one gulp. "Now where did I set my cake down?"

It was good.

"Of course."

"Hmm, what shall we do now? That lady offered us a plotline, but I'm on the fence about it. Have you ever been on one before?"

Folen frowned. "I'm rather busy at the moment with my friends here, perhaps later? Oh, and only if it's a truly terrible decision."

"Of course! We're friends, aren't we?"

Folen raised his glass. "A toast! To this fellow here, who's name I don't know. I'm sure he fought honorable and bravely in whatever fight it was that he won!"

"It's an awful decision," she assured him.

Tam smiled at her blush and pointed to two of the theories.

The first and the last one.

She tilted her head at it. This was a really weird fever dream. She nudged it upright with her foot.

-

-Somehow engineered the Nullite race

-Created their lore

-Took over the colony later (unlikely outcome--- the caves seem to be incredibly well hidden

-Born Narrator as one of the Nullite people (whatever they're called--- needs further study) and rejected the tattoos in favor of his power

"'Somehow engineered the Nullite race'," she read. "I think he might have done experiments to make them resistant to Nullite or something. You remember what happened to Shoe when he had a bit of the tattoo ink in his system?"

It squeaked and fell onto her foot.

She tilted her head thoughtfully.

I do . . . that's a good point, actually. What about the last one?

hehehe :D

I'm liking him more and more :P

Thus, I prefer my other theories. It might make more sense as to his existence, though. I'd speak to him myself, but my Author is far too lazy to write that out. Perhaps you'd consider speaking to him and asking his age? Perhaps try and verify some of my theories?"

Beosta appreciated being sober.

Lady Bug grinned and retaliated with her own poems to Bacon, sung by a chorus of bugs with perfect pitch. Then she added a light show.

She searched each of them.

She found the Wall quite interesting, but didn't particularly care to breach it. For now.

Rose stared at it.

-

Symbol blushed and didn't remark on the turtle.

"My theories?" She reread the page again.

and it's uncertain how long he's been there. The citizens don't seem to fear him, so perhaps the deeper caverns have destigmatized Narrators, at least to some extent. Needs further study.

Theories

-Somehow engineered the Nullite race

-Created their lore

-Took over the colony later (unlikely outcome--- the caves seem to be incredibly well hidden

-Born Narrator as one of the Nullite people (whatever they're called--- needs further study) and rejected the tattoos in favor of his power

"What specifically seems to need clarification?"

"It looks to me like you two need a plotline," Lady Bug said. "How would you feel about being part of an experiment?"

Don't worry. She only wants to cause them great emotional pain.

The some of the Nullite boxes were empty. Most didn't have an opening where she could get in. Eof's house was locked. Perhaps knocking would help.

"An' wha' does that mean? Why are they pointin' at me?"

"Pointing at you is not the important part, that just means that you are capable of exiting here with me, which I already figured. I was simply curious about how they would work while in a thought-space."
