Rebus grinned. “It worked. I made Ordered Chaos - the Light and Darkness bleed off as light and darkness, and the Ordered Chaos combines the Order and Chaos to make more. I’ve been thinking of it a bit like fire. You need fuel,” he put out a hand, and a sort of torch made from Nullite was teleported to it, “a plentiful material for it to react with,” he waved a hand, throwing off a stream of Narration, “and a spark - which you provided, and now I can keep burning.” He touched the torch to the experiment, and the reaction spread onto it, sucking up the Narration Rebus fed it and combining it with the Nullite. The surface turned grey, pockets of a lighter and a darker shade growing and shrinking as the Nullite “burned”, while wisps of glowing light or obscuring darkness rose off of it.

“I have not decided yet. Ordered Chaos - or I suppose, Chaotic Order - is the scientific definition, but a name for the metal - and eventually, the being - is not something I have decided on. Emergence, fractals, paradoxes, counter-intuitive states, recursion, metaphorical burning, categories and patterns from randomness, seeming randomness from patterns, instability, emulsification, self-propagation… there’s a lot to work with, but nothing that comes to mind as first - most important, best to name it. We could name it with emergence, I suppose. Keep changing what we call it until one thing catches on.”

Well, if @Immortal Platypus gives me a more thorough explanation, I could do it. That’d also keep Rebus away, which I think many people would appreciate. I’m more active, and I think I can be fair and do it justice if I’m given the necessary context.

She nodded thoughtfully. "And it does... hmm." She reached out and touched it to see if she would explode.

Alright. If you don't think you are right for the job, is there anyone better? I asked @Dragonheir and he said that you have been on almost the longest (and are still actually active on TLT).

well, the main people I think of are Nameless (who's not here), Xino (who's not here), and Thaid (who's banned). Normally, I personally would wait til Nameless got back, but I'm very patient when it comes to plotlines, and most people are not. I think I'd be fine for it, I just think those three would be better.

It would be nice if you made a wiki page about it, or just detailed everything you know, so that there isn't only 1 active person on TLT who knows more than what was explained on Xino's blog posts. Honestly, I feel like Luxsprites are a huge part of the lore, so even if you still end up playing one, it would be nice to have some more documentation. Also on Withergiests or Ennullers, It would be amazing to have one central place (What the Wiki is attempting to be) that has all the TLT lore. That way people wouldn't have to depend on older players that could magically disappear at any moment for any number of reasons. That would also mean that if the thread all but completly dies and a new set of players wander along, they wont be too lost.

Also, When you realize that Nameless has the list of all the plot blades on TLT in his about me

It “burnt” away a little bit of the Narration in her fingertips, but nothing else seemed to happen. Then she became more - more aware of the Thread, of others, of herself, of her mind, of language, of patterns; the leaves moving in the wind, the dirt underfoot and the shapes it made, the clouds in the sky, the beating of her heart, the moment of the people around her. All these things matched up, aligned, somehow fit the same formula- and then one of the robotic arms Rebus had set up fell over and hit him, knocking the torch away.
Rebus brushed himself off, made the machine get off of him, and ensured the reaction was still going. “That was odd. I think that the last portion was a buildup of Chaos - are you all right? Every bit of utility fog in that thing’s path just went offline at once - so I supposed it could also be Order. Or I guess the point is that it’s both.”

oh, I pretty much only know what was in the blog posts. I've maybe talked to Xino about a little more than that, but that's about the extent of my knowledge. honestly, even if things break established lore in the future, it's TLT. everything can break established lore. In all my time before Glass and Haly showed up, I think we maybe had one Ennuller appearance. It just depends on who's doing what. I'm pretty chill about what happens on TLT honestly, so I'm not too worried about it dying or something like that.

Rebus nodded. “I understand. Sometimes I wish I could forget it myself - that is another reason to be careful with the Narrator core. You’d have to make yourself aware on purpose - since Chaotic Light and Thread Perception isn’t exactly the same thing, but if it is so ingrained into your memory, it might only take a single lapse of your thoughts to make you know.”
Speaking of the lore, I’m not sure where smokite actually fits in the axes - maybe it’s supposed to be completely blank and meld to whatever it needs to be, but the Corruption has tipped it towards Chaotic Darkness.

Well, its kind of its own thing... Its... like... Its not part of the axes. Its a seprate thing. It's like a... a substance that can become anything. It can do and change so much. so... yeah its kind of like a blank slate, except it has a few properties that are in it's original form. It LOVES changing back to its original form, so realistcally, only shapers can use it, because of how its original form is constantly dissolving into literally nothing. It cannot be tipped towards anything, it may seem like it, but given enough time away from a shaper (and no, none of the axes can control it) it will allways degrade.
That's the best way I know to describe it.

Rebus began to laugh. “You think you’re so smart. You believe a metaphysicist Narrator with Magnificent Bastard can simply be stolen from like this? You think brute force can beat nearly a thousand pages of preparation? Perhaps you are right, but it won’t be this easy.” There was a sonic boom, and before Platypus could react, Bacon (@xinoehp512, I assume you remember accepting the teleporter) was where Rebus had been, and Rebus directly in front of Platypus, slamming Bacon’s shard into Vengeance.

A normal clone. Only one clone and the original got a shard, so he doesn’t have one there.

Bacon, who had been brushing his teeth at the time, nearly choked.

"Wha goin on?" he mumbled, utterly bewildered.
