When Rebus attempted to touch the Nullite to the shard, it simply merged into the shard. It maintained its shape, just grew a little bit. The Prismite was blasted away from the shard as he tried to draw it near.

You think brute force can beat nearly a thousand pages of preparation? Perhaps you are right, but it won’t be this easy.” There was a sonic boom, and before Platypus could react, Bacon (@xinoehp512, I assume you remember accepting the teleporter) was where Rebus had been, and Rebus directly in front of Platypus, slamming Bacon’s shard into Vengeance.

well... you'll note they appeared directly after Magnificent Bastard hit the shard. Also, Clemency isn't a Plotblade.

In addition, Platypus hasn't been around for 500+ pages. what did you think he was doing? He was never super trustworthy, and certainly isn't trusting. You've even seen his collection of powerful artifacts before. He has... let's just say, a lot of Plotblades. many have been held by other characters.

Platypus smirked as Rebus disappeared. A metaphysicist Narrator he may be, but he no longer has Magnificent Bastard. And I've fought plenty of Narrators in my time. "I do think that brute force can beat prep," Platypus calmly stated. "Fortunately, I don't have just brute force. I took have had time for... preparations. I've been gathering important artifacts since before you were even found by the Ennullers."

Bacon's shard, instead of hitting Vengeance, zipped to Platypus' feet, just like Lady Bug's had.

"Oh, and by the way. I have no need for Nullite tricks. I have no need for tricks in general. You cannot stop my plans from coming to fruition. I will finish what Feanor started."

"Calm down," she said. "I'm not here to hurt anybody." She smiled at Symbol, glee sparkling in her eyes. "I know what you wanted. Don't worry. I'll do it for you. But don't imagine I won't enjoy it. Oh, you'll get humanity. You'll get humanity and much, much more." She tossed her head back and laughed, sharp and loud, then vanished with an ear-splitting crack and a curl of confetti.

"That's a good question. I don't suppose there's really any reason you should. Honestly, I figure that my whole goal here would be easier without engagement, but someone will inevitably try to stop me, and I'd rather cut it off at the start than have them be a thorn in my side throughout."

In addition, Platypus hasn't been around for 500+ pages. what did you think he was doing? He was never super trustworthy, and certainly isn't trusting. You've even seen his collection of powerful artifacts before. He has... let's just say, a lot of Plotblades. many have been held by other characters.

Oh, you'll get humanity. You'll get humanity and much, much more." She tossed her head back and laughed, sharp and loud, then vanished with an ear-splitting crack and a curl of confetti.
