Somewhere, in a deep darkness, Hacob awoke with a splitting headache. This was getting out of hand. He wondered where he was, and when people would notice he was missing.

Afterimage looked at him interestedly.

They searched the vast galaxy - quantum computer style - and world for any patterns resembling that of the picture.

Yeah - because it has the soul there it's more user friendly or something? Or maybe Malan is just evil? 

Oh. I suppose you're right. 

Rebus touched the piece of Nullite containing the trapped Ennuller soul to the shard, testing to see if it would kill like Mordite and/or absorb the soul, and whether the soul could survive such a thing and gain a new power set it could facilitate.

The shard simply absorbed the Nullite. Interestingly enough, it didn't seem to grow this time.

That was annoying. Afterimage would ask the Scribe for an assist, but the Scribe was busy.

Anyways, whatever Rebus was doing seemed cool, so it spectated from a safe distance… if it could.

This guy is not thread aware past what he’s been told - he know of the thread, but that’s it.

However, he does have small camera like things literally wherever he could place them - but I’m assuming if Rebus was in like, a pocket dimension or some sort of Nullite lined lair, twouldnt work.

Rebus was rather disappointed - Ennuller souls were very hard to acquire, and probably unethical to extract as well.

Here's the last thing in our conversation. 

Platypus appeared, killed a clone of Rebus after Rebus asked for Luxite, and somehow made a mystery metal appear at the feet of all the Narrators. It's invincible, teleports to the Narrator, absorbs Narration, grows when it touches Nullite, and has minor Mordite-like effects.

I figured.

It was normal Prismite. The shard was completely intact and totally unharmed.
