He stands up, seeming to be out of his small little 'occurance'. "Sorry. I don't know what happened there. Well, I do... but, never mind." He seems to have a strange reaction whenever he looks at you. A mix of confusion, wanting, and pain.

You  . . might want to try avoiding using "you." Just say the character's name.

The man looked taken aback. “This is no way to treat Mathew-“ smoke exploded out from his sleeves, rendering him almost impossible to see- “the Magnificent!” When the smoke cleared, he was gone.

They started as avatars for Authors, but then some people gave them separate personalities and motivations, so now they’re different. They just kinda exist when an Author thinks of one, though I believe some people have been made a Narrator, and Utility was made by another Narrator.

Chaotic Darkness. Basically the opposite of a Narrator. They corrupt things, make bonds with people, and overall just try to take everything over.
