But ain’t no prince gunna save that peasant girl, so she probably ain’t gonna live long.” 9 minutes ago, The Shattered Cosmere said: Someone else came into the inn, drawing the innkeeper away, leaving Regulus in thought. A man came over to Regulus and asked, “What's your business in town?” Regulus poked at his stew, remembering once more the words of his mother. "How many times do I have to tell you! If the food's over a month old, throw it out!" Looking down at his stew, Regulus wondered what time last month the stew was from. It was possibly still safe. The woman was distracted, so he couldn't ask her. Perhaps... he poked the something with his spoon. It didn't look too bad all things considered... So lost in thought was he, that he missed what the man was saying. When he finally noticed the man, he blinked, looking up. "Hello? Sorry, did you say something? Perhaps, he decided, the princess had not been well-liked by her people. He peered at the skyline of the town, searching for the castle where the king no doubt lived. Surely he, or his advisors if the king himself was too overcome with grief to speak with adventurers personally, would have further information. He grinned, regarding it.
