Adari caught the foot, then snapped the leg as they put it back.

Turning to Pyk, “Just give up, and it will stop.”

Pyk was blubbering now, tears streaming down his eyes. He knew, however, that if he failed this test, they would both die.

Ya want me to just “kill” her?

Meat blinked, disappointed. That had made far more sense than expected, though that in itself made no sense and thus sadly made sense. The whole thought made no sense, quite sensibly sensed by Nonsense and making it glow, which could, of course, be sensed. Through eyes, and other things.

asher felt herself die. Well again. It wasnt the first time. But instead of memories or thoughts. She saw red. Literally. When the red faded she saw Cade and seraphina, “hey ash, you gotta stop dying your not ready to die yet.” Seraphina says happy. “Yeah, but it seems you’ve got in a predicament. Anyways there’s something you’re gonna unlock. Don’t panic or anything.” Cade says then they disappear.

Pyk can technically see that paragraph

outside Asher stopped moving. Then she went tense. A blue light streamed from her chest and made the form of a griffin. The ran around her then became a blue bubble encompassing her. She got torn from adaris hands and she dropped to the ground. When the light dispersed her grey eyes was glowing pale blue like lightning to the side. She exhaled a puff of pale blue smoke. She was floating a few inches off the ground. 

Asher looked between pyk and the adari then back to pyk. 

Ok i have an idea. It’s gonna go after this. But i need permission. Basically it’s a test of loyalty right? So could her being loyal to him help him pass? She’s got like a lot more powers now so could she helppp himmmm

when you respond yes or no. Different thing will happen.

She picked it up and sighed. It was probably Tam. Of course she’d be spying on her.

Pyk jerked forwards when she died. Tears mixed with the blood.

And then, she was alive. A creature - one he could only compare to a dragon - burst from her chest, pushing Adari back.

Adari’s focus was distracted from Pyk, and he was freed, for now. He collapsed onto the ground, unable to move.

Asher felllttt stronger. She didnt look at pyk, partially cause it hurt to see him in so much pain. Also cause she was gonna keep adaris attention. She didnt know really what happened. She stood there processing for a second before disappearing and reappearing behind adari and punching the back of his head and then disappearing again. And she didn’t reappear this time.
