"Come on, just long enough for me to take notes. And then I'll turn you back into a grapefruit and eat all of you."

It considered and agreed, but it would only go on one as a grapefruitlt NOT A STORMING PERSON

"I'm glad too, Bat. Thank you for being such a good friend."

"Of course. I'll be as good as I can."

"Then I'll lock you in the stubborn depths where nobody will ever eat you."

She laughed quietly. "You're already doing just fine."

A stick appeared nearby.

He smiled. "Thank you. That... that means a lot to me."

Probably more than you know.

She hugged him for a moment more, then stepped back.

"Alright, now what? Again. Again again," she chuckled.

The stick was brown and sticky, in classic joke stick fashion.

It leaned on the grapefruit comfortingly.

He shrugged, then flopped onto the couch on top of the fort. "Just relax, I guess."

Ruia sighed again.

"Huh . . . alright."

She went and sat on the opposite couch, accidentally knocking down a few walls.

Walls of the fort. Not the cabin.

Obviously.

The grapefruitlt liked that and then let out a stream of grapefruit juice behind it like a stream of pee. It was considerably immature.

"You two. There's a dragon like thing over there. Lets go."

"Since when are you the one who gets to give orders? But agreed, let us be going." Bobert burned pewter to make the walk more effortless, and burned tin so he could get a better look at the dragon.

It was a skinny green thing, rippling as it moved and happily circled the pine tree that happened to be somewhat taller than the surrounding deciduous trees.

"Does is look agressive?"

Cadewyn whispered from right behind Bobert.

The mercenary explodes, but another teleports behind the man and swings an axe crackling with electricity at him. A third stakes some sort of turret in the ground, vines growing around it as anchors.

Good choice.

The room warps as the brave adventurer walks through it, first getting longer then abruptly contracting and leaving a blank wall in front of him. The commotion beyond gets louder, and the sounds of both singing and fighting can be heard.

The brave adventurer walks up to the wall and presses a hand on it. He debates whether to call out, and decides against it. Then, a sudden instinct guiding him, he spins around quickly to look behind him.

"Well... I don't want to be Tyrant, or kill him, per se."

Atreides slaughtered them, reveling in their holographic blood. He snarled, parrying Rebus' blow, and kicking him with many times the strength of an ordinary human.

He broke free, still crying. "I'm sorry." he whispered hoarsely. "I... just..."

The Shade smiled, throwing ropes over him. "Now for you three." he said, turning to the others.

Moni spoke quietly again. “What are you going to do with us?” Her breathing was rapid and her knuckles were white upon Ending’s hilt.

"Don't let anyone break you, okay? Even yourself. You'll figure it out." She shrugged. "Or you won't, and it doesn't matter anyway. I never figured anything out."

"I... thanks. That's what I need. And... I'm sorry. Just... maybe there's still time."

She narrowed her eyes. "Still time for what? For you to be better? You're fine, Cricket."

"You just said I was fine. Those are words I've been needing to hear, over the last couple of days. Right now, though, let's focus on saving your homeland. What was it like there, anyway?"
