Through The Living Glass She/They Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 1 minute ago, Halcyon The Only said: “You’re back,” he agreed, tightening his grip to an almost dangerous level before letting go. He kept hold of Cricket’s shoulders, beaming. “So we got out of yhe cage with Rose—“ Rose waved at this point— “And apparently Second Rose is Ruia or something, and I think she’s suspicious but she can’t find us here, and Rose has special powers that may or may not start mind controlling her, and Malevolence said he wants to help us, and all the Authors started talking to me, and Tam vanished… and… we gotta give her space.” He frowned. “I don’t like leaving her alone, but… I’ll contact her soon.” Nice recap

Not enough for anything to happen.”

Bat winced at her language. “Aw, go Narrate your lungs to a cave slug,” Rose said, noticing.

Through the Living Heir he/him Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 8 hours ago, Aeoryi said: "Correct." Desolation said, "It was a reference to the Liar's Paradox." Desolation pointed to the white die. While the black one had dots, the white one was engraved with strange foreign sigils. "You are... In trouble." Desolation motioned towards the die. "You face the final issue, the last thing stopping you from discovering the truth of Narration." His inky figure wiped away the spots that the dice were. There were two small holes, both the exact same size as either die. "Those dice must be put in the slots in a way that adds up to four." Desolation motioned at the white die with strange symbols. "You must, of course, use both dice available." Rebus (prime) picks the dice up, turning them over in his hands and examining the symbols to see if he recognizes them. “My first instinct is to use the white die as a mathematical symbol. My second is to cut them both in half, but that is rather drastic. Do I get more than one attempt?”

He’d reach out mentally for her in a couple of minutes, though. Bat sat back down, watching Malevolence. “So… where do you come from?” “I don’t really know.” Malevolence placed his hands on the ground and leaned backwards, staring up at the sky. “I was pretty much raised by the school of evil.” 8 hours ago, Ookla the Irreplaceable said: like trying to attack? Cricket gasped, scrambling to his feet, unsheathing his knives. Why couldn't he remember anything? "Don't...don't move." “Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you.” Malevolence grinned at Cricket. “Not sure if you heard, but I was telling Tam and Bat here that you will never be able to defeat Malan.”

Not very competent.”
