One of the sharks pressed it's nose roughly against his palm before continuing on.

Tam swam over.

I can't hear you very well- is something wrong? she asked, turning back to her normal self and rubbing a different shark's nose.

He shook his head. ... hard to think at you.......... Nullite...

The dolphin drones, not finding her, multiplied and scattered doing the same thing.

“So he is real? Some locals I met claimed to know him. They… also warned us against travelling into these forests.” Palsu looked down, blinking tears from his blue eyes. “We should have listened.”

I had thought that it was a two way connection. Template, having been connected by Livetha earlier, can suddenly talk to everyone.

Kion gives up on finding firewood inside the strange cave and whispers back to Moni, “There’s more than one kind?”
Rebus, slightly awed, whispers, “I knew they were powerful, but I didn’t realize it was those.” He remembers something - and by force of will, Narrates the description away.

“Yeah. Some are pretty nice, like Sequence, some have hero complexes like Platypus, some are downright evil, some are playful, and some are… callous.”

"Well, bloody look at that!" Sylas laughs looking up at Tellin. "You're face right now is hilarious! Looks like your translations were faulty."

The Emperor's eyes slowly open wide as he takes in what he just heard. "Y-You.. Th-That blade." He says looking back to the blade. "W-wh-who was this then" he says pointing a slightly shaking finger at the sheathed blade on the ground.

The woman’s smile widens “A prospective apprentice who failed my test. Here is my offer: give me the souls of half of your subjects and in return I will equip your forces with weapons that will destroy any army. With those Blades, you will surely usher in an era of peace and prosperity.” She spread her arms to the sides. “What say you?”

Platypus muttered a curse under his breath. He'd been afraid it would be those two. After the vision, and the fact they hadn't shown up yet... Well, no better time to solve this than now. Two more of him appeared at his base. Then they teleported away, one filling out paperwork at the Wall to inform the Ennullers of the development of the Plotblades (@xinoehp512), the other starting his hunt for the Plotblades. The one on the hunt travelled to where he figured the best place to begin would be: the place of Plot's death, and the rock that he left. It's gonna be a pain to find that post. In the Hall of Judgement, the original Platypus sat with his face perfectly masked, betraying nothing.

The air of the courtroom was thick with suspense as the Honest Judge continued. “Defense, how do you plead?”

“What? It did?” Subversion frowned. “That’s unfortunate. I promised Nogard I would be there. Oh well.” She shrugged as if it was of no importance, but her shoulders slumped as she turned back toward the guest room. “Put me in for the first possible appointment. Maybe I can catch the tail end of the trial at least.”

“I don’t really know him.” Subversion said as she walked back to the guest room. “Can’t remember if I’ve had any interactions with him or not. Splitting your soul can have weird interactions with memories. But he’s interacted with Moni, so I know some things about him.”

Kion continues whispering, although he’s pretty sure a Narrator can hear him anyway. “Ah, you meant personality. Faunus is new, I believe. She’s more serious than the other couple Narrators than I encountered, and seems as unselfish as someone with seemingly unlimited power can be without using it fully.”

The Emperor stutters, but then finally stops, turning his face back to a stern look. "No. My quest is to protect my subjects, not use them." He says. "I seek the Dreamsmith and no other. I will only go as far as to sacrifice myself. If it is the will of the Dreamsith, I will only sacrifice myself."

Template hides in the hole they dug, still a nautilus-dolphin thing. They keep digging downward, ignoring the static-filled telepathic conversation.

The Render keeps building more things in the Endless Plain. In addition to the odd constructions, it has made several tall structures, and ditches and walls that write out: I AM HERE.
Kion is pretty conclusively stalled, plot wise. He’ll return when the relevant Authors do.

Rebus, though, is more active than any of them. He sharpens, almost coming into focus, and builds hives-minded duplicates so he can do everything he needs to. Quietly removing the hidden drone, he enters the court through legal means, and proposes a motion for the fate of the two Plotblades: that they be broken into less threatening fragments and safeguarded by many different people and organizations. Assuming there is no dramatic heist or prophecy fulfillment, of course. His Author somehow manages to get fulfillment autocorrected to gorilla, but unfortunately decided to fix it.

A Rebus clone sets out for Onyx’s Realm, setting up a nanomachine cache with a “mundane” teleporter on a conveniently uninhabited moon. Thus prepared, he reaches out to the relevant Author so the destiny-thread-tugging or perhaps teleporter-beacon-giving can begin. @xinoehp512

A Rebus clone reads a book while playing multiple idle games. “We can’t all be productive, can we? The other me-s would probably go crazy if it weren’t for other things to do,” he comments for any Narrators that might be watching.

Another Rebus is doing productive research; reading about nanotechnology and literary tropes. He smirks at his Author, who wishes he could have such topics qualify as practical. Both the Author and the semi-autonomous creation are waiting for Ryss, so they can hear, for different reasons, the story of how @Ancient Elantrian was usurped.

The final Rebus clone - for now - sets up a small atmospheric force field dome on the moon which is quickly being devoured by nanomachines. He gives it a floor of non-ravenous ones, then sends out an invitation (with free teleportation there and back) to any who would desire futuristic gadgets or interesting conversations.

Well

Ryss is, for the moment, a bit dead

Gimme a bit, when I have more time I'll revive him

Thank you! Rebus doesn’t necessarily need to talk to Ryss himself, if you don’t want to bring him back.
