Shoe shuddered when he saw it.

If you want me to. But I don't . . . hmm. I don't want to leave you alone . . .

He looked to his sister.

Tam, will you stay with Beosta?

“No. No, you might need her. I’ll be okay. I don’t want you to get hurt.”

”Bat and I will stay,” Gaioh offered

"Thanks."

Cricket looked at it, wincing. It seemed... strange.

The blade was ghostly, silvery blue, curved, and ripping in the light.

He looked at her pleadingly.

She hesitated. “Just… keep him safe, okay?”

She squeezed Shoes hand. “Don’t you dare get hurt.”

I mean, you can . . . I just want one of you two- he gestured between Cricket and Tam, -To stay with her.

He was so scudding sweet.

Cricket nodded. "That man won't try anything, at least while I'm there." he said, making his hand Enuller black.

“…okay. Fine. But I’m staying in your head the whole time. —Take Livetha, too.”

Alright. Be safe.

Tam walked over and put her arm around Beosta's shoulders.

"I'll take gooooood care of her, don't you worry," she grinned.

“Be safe,” she said quietly. “Really, really safe.”

I will be.

Tam teleported them to the farmstead.

Cricket looked around curiously.

Beosta sighed, frowned, and started pacing. She already regretted not going as well.

The house was quiet. The chopped up door hadn’t been moved.

He came on his own- and we didn't exactly want to come back. We just retrieved . . . what we needed . . . and left him here.

“He tried to make me my mom,” she whispered, closing her eyes. “Tam, he tried to make me my mom.”

The house was eerily quiet. As they went inside, they’d find Hidel at the table, head in his hands.

Oh no wait answer crickets question first and come back to this

He quietly stepped through the now-empty doorframe. Not really. He's a complete psycho, that's for sure- but I don't really know anything else about him.

Be ready for anything, just in case.

Atreides smiled, and teleporting them both into the storm above. The winds whipped them, but Atreides just laughed, hovering there. "Do you know my titles, Avatar? Emperor of the Universe, Lord of Blades, but also... King of the Winds." he said, watching as wind spirits swirled around them, several being absorbed by his blade, which pulsed with energy. "This is my domain, Avatar. Fight me."

"Let's make this fast. Your dad doesn't exactly seem like the nicest guy around."

Moni spun in the air, helplessly tossed about by the gusting winds. Fight him? How about I try and avoid falling to my death first? She closed her eyes, pushing aside thoughts of smashing into the ground far below, focusing her mind on the dagger clutched tightly in her fist. “End.”Moni’s eyes snapped open as power pulsed out from the Blade. The wind around her died, clouds and spirits sent scattering away. The wave of energy stopped just short of Atreides, leaving a circle of calm a hundred yards in diameter. For a moment Moni hung there in the clear sky, staring straight at the so-called King of the Winds without a scrap of fear in her eyes. Then of course, she fell from the sky.

Cricket behind him through the door, hand on his knife. Psycho didn't sound so good.

Far below, Perseus sighed. He had been useless. So much for one of the best fighters. He glanced up, his enhanced sight spotting a falling figure.
