Cricket turned, ducking under the sword and bringing his dagger up. How many more could he fight?

Atreides looked down in anger. "Fool! I. AM. A. GOD!" he screamed. "I've fought giants and dragons, descended into hell and returned. Once, my very name made the gods tremble, so much so I joined them! Defy me, Avatar, and pay the price."

Hacob laughed as he heard this. If he recalled correctly, Moniker was there in the days of the Witherlord.

"I dunno! It appeared in my hand for some reason."

The Scribe giggled, and a small note fell next to Bat.

Shoe gently set the glowing orb on Beosta's body.

It vanished into her.

Beosta felt herself pulled out of the flat landscape she'd been traveling through and jolted back into her body.

The glazed green eyes regained Beosta's natural brown and violet. She gasped in a breath.

He wouldn't happen to still be holding her...

no, but he's a Narrator. They do funky stuff. There are people around him though, that just heard him randomly start laughing

Atreides looked for the source of the laughter, and raised his hand, a spear of pure light appearing in it.

Can Asher have some form of impact? Even a bit because they are suppose to be strong. Pleaaaaseeeee

Dint looks down at where the fire hit him. Something... something was wrong. He gasped, and his movements turned slower.

no, Hacob's laughter wasn't there, it was from him where he is. although, depending on how Thread-aware he is, he could have heard it I guess.

"Are you ok? You seem more... tired than you did before."

The Wizard laughed wryly. "Of course I'm more tired. I've fought those who were my closest friends, been knocked unconscious, chained, and had my powers almost entirely sealed away. You could say that I've had a long day."

Cricket turned, ducking under the sword and bringing his dagger up. How many more could he fight?

The sword swished by Cricket, and there was a clang of metal as it deflected the dagger thrown by the first hunter Cricket had stabbed. An instant later, the figure ran into Cricket's knife, blade sinking deep into their heart. They collapsed backwards to the ground, cloak billowing around them.

Moni's grip tightened on Endings. "Just try and make me pay. I don't care what you've done, you're not getting this Blade."

Atreides smiled, raising his free hand, summoning a storm.

Omen's voice seemed to come from everywhere at once.

"You have killed enough already. Look, and see what you have done."

Moni walked towards him, right hand gripping Ending's hilt. "A storm? Really? That's the punishment for defying you? I guess that makes sense. Cowards like you never do want to fight people personally."

"So... are you ok? Is there something we could do?"

The Great Wizard shook his head. "Do I look okay? I have betrayed everyone I cared for for nothing! How could I be okay?"

He hugged her back just as tightly, feeling tears fill his own eyes.

I thought you were dead . . . I thought I'd lost you, he said, voice wavering.

Cricket looked around, confused.

Atreides shook in anger, and ran towards her with inhuman speed, his form blurring as he slashed with his spear of light. As he ran, he casually tripped Perseus, who fell. Above them, thunder rumbled and rain fell, as the sun was blotted out.
