No. I’ve only been here a day. I got Nullite poisoning… as well as dragonblood poisoning.

Gail appeared next to him after tearing up her invitation. "Where are we again?"

"Brave Adventurer headquarters, I believe," said Nogard, looking around for Selppaenip.

Lady Bug let go of Bacon and curtsied. "Thank you for the dance. We had both best be going now."

Bacon bowed, tipping his hat. "Until next time, fair Lady Bug."

@xinoehp512

It’s been… bad. The dragonblood didn’t react well with the Nullite, and started to use my Ennuling to attack other people. The Ennullers contained it for now… but…

He grew his mental presence, letting them in, engulfing them. He drew on the power of the Plotblade and began absorbing them into himself.

Meanwhile, Rym wondered whether or not it was a bad idea to knock on the door of the plot.

Platypus opened the door before Rym could knock. "Rym! Come on in! We should be getting back to the plot soon!"

"Fine." Moni emerged from her room, a pack slung over her shoulder. "I'll warn you though, Endings is bonded to me. If you teleport away, I can just summon it back. The only way to break the bond would be to kill me." With that, she drew forth the Blade of Endings, the Blade whose power gave even Platypus pause, and proffered it to Perseus. It was a rusted dagger that looked as if it would turn into dust if he so much as breathed on it. The only danger it looked like it would pose to anyone was tetanus, and that was barely a risk at all if the edge was as dull as it looked.

Platypus felt his name mentioned. He was indignant. Endings didn't give him pause, he just... didn't like thinking about something that could End pretty much anything with a scratch. In his possession, it would be fine. In Moni's, it was acceptable. In pretty much anyone else's... things would be going down.

Sequence laughed some more, slowly getting to her feet and extending a hand to Unintelligible. "Personally, I think bad dancing seems more fun than spinning in perfectly uneventful circles all night long."

Sequence's copy/hologram looked confused, glancing between him and Beosta. ".. Cardinal? He's been tending to the garden all night." She looked at Cardinal, who looked like he was about ready to pass out. "... Right?"

"Everyone made me do it!" He suddenly blurted out, pointing at Everyone. "They gave me the vial, they told me to spread it out and focus on people who weren't paying attention!" He immediately dropped his head into his hands and sobbed. Sequence looked at Everyone, her authority and confidence melting away. Everyone smiled, an unsettling, dark smile.

"Perhaps it's time for your precious party to end." Everyone hissed, their signature darkness creeping into their voice. "Wouldn't want people to start dying." With that, they vanished in a puff of black smoke.

Sequence looked a little dizzy, but snapped her fingers. Shoe's couch gently lifted into the air, and relocated a safe distance away. "Beosta, do me a favor please." She said shakily. "Go ahead and start asking people to leave, would you?"

"Thank you. That is all I ask."

i'm going to assume he didn't approach either Platypus or Hacob, even though both weren't here very much. Things would not have gone well for either Cardinal or Everyone.

Unintelligible nodded, but he had a worried look on his face. "You didn't answer my question. Is something wrong?"

"Oh, was Everyone causing trouble again?" Subversion glanced around. "Nogard, you should probably leave. Everyone is quite dangerous."

Platypus formed a pen and, careful not to use Clemency for this, signed the first blank when it appeared. He also signed the second one. He could do both, and was curious what would happen.

Nope! Mostly just subtly spreading the substance around in relatively inconspicuous places.

"I'll do my best."

Nogard waved goodbye and tore up the invitation.

Subversion stared at the space Nogard had occupied, all the dark thoughts she'd been pushing away returning with a vengeance. Tears sprang to her eyes as she turned and vanished from the party, reappearing somewhere dark and dreary to match her mood, with rain pouring down and lightning splitting the sky and wolves howling and-Stop. You're just distracting yourself with Narration. You need to face this. Confront it. Despite these brave thoughts, Subversion didn't move. She just sat there for a long time, rain making a mess of her hair and dress. Finally, she stood, muttering something under her breath. "If everyone else is doing it, why shouldn't I?" She coughed, then raised her voice. "Bacon the Bard, Bacon the Bard, Bacon the Bard."
