But it will happen after your Council has been razed, your strongholds destroyed, and all hope is seemingly lost. Good luck."

What do you mean by that? This is a representation of Tenth's mind/soul, more or less. The dragon-blood power was contained to inside of Tenth, but wasn't restricted beyond that.

Bacon nodded absently, looking at the altar and frowning.

Bacon sighed. "Self-destruction would provide a minor speedbump to our friend, at best."

The Ennuller was looking mightily unimpressed by Cricket's declaration.

"I suppose I could do that," allowed Selppaenip, looking at the Great Wizard and ... to see what they thought about all of this.

The air felt thick and liquid. The colors on the walls had melted and mixed together into a messy gray-brown.

"You felt bad?" Onyx asked warily. "Why would you feel bad?"

 

Cricket cursed, looking for a way out. The Enuller could easily stop his portals. Then he breathed in and sighed. "Can I have a conference with my friends before I make my decision? I'll get back to you in twenty-four hours, by the Light and my hope of rebirth and salvation, I swear."

Veleraxon frowned and spoke again. My apologies. You see I do not speak your language and am not very good with telepathic speech anyway, it's not as simple as thinking for dragons. When I said the Enuller High Council, I meant a rogue group of Enullers. Curse this foolish human language with its lack of proper grammar.

That was a lame excuse, wasn't it?

It is the refined form of the dragonblood, often found as crystals on other planets.

The ceiling, however, is made of a second material. The (well not really but close enough) opposite of the dragonblood, which is not nearly as well known. He has never seen it before.

And what I mean by that last thing is that the power has a prominent presence in peoples mind… and since they are in Tenth’s mind it should be able to attack them.

Tenth looked up at the vines. The had a strange order to them. Suddenly one spiked down towards them, straight at the doctor.

As it neared them, the mist… strengthened. It became less translucent… almost opaque. As if it was preparing.

One of those "pesky Enullers" has it out for you, dear Bacon. He wants you dead. That's why I wanted to speak with you, to let you know that some of these Enullers are very dangerous and were very respected among the community, so much so that the High Council doesn't dare mess with them. I suggest you look out in the future.

Asher nodded. That would be a good distraction. Yeahs blow stuff up! Violence!!  Ashers light flickered back to black for a split second again.(or for pyk it went off and on) Stupid its not gonna kill no one. “Yes that would be.. great distraction” Asher said not sure if saying distraction was a good idea or not. They didnt want anyone to think they were going insane. So best not to make anyone think they heard voices. Right?  Just keep control.

That's not how Narration works Platypus. I didn't bring them there, I just reminded the Thread of their existence.

We know you're doing it!] The rabbits jumped up and down in anger, and then a great many things happened very quickly. About a dozen rabbits who'd remained invisible despite the ash coating them leapt onto Hacob from all sides, biting down with teeth like razors. The rest immediately became invisible as well, and Hacob felt faint rumblings in the ground (the tremors from the first rabbits to attack him had been covered by the angry jumping of the visible rabbits) as the full horde swarmed towards him.

My sources say their numbers include Kylser, a former Council member who advocated extremes for Narrators, and Ceorn, an Enuller known for slaying King Teldoran, the first and last Narrator king of Welderan. It would be wise to avoid them. Ceorn, particularly, since he has been wandering the multiverse since Welderan was destroyed. He will be actively hunting you.

Then the ground erupted, sending rabbits flying and pulling others into the new pit. As the earth fell back onto the rabbits Hacob leaped up with a weird remote in his hand. 

A brave adventurer peeked his head out of the volcano's secret door.

Hacob punched one in the nose, then pressed the button on the remote. Those brave adventurers really should have checked who owned the building before they moved in. Nowhere built some strange things into houses. Before the bunnies could reach him, the volcano erupted, lava flowing perfectly around Hacob, heat rising around him, but not onto him. Stupid bunnies and their stupid bunny powers.

However, as the Strand neared them, the mist strengthened further. It churned, and the both of them were thrown around as the mist reached up, almost as if to attack the Strand.

Pyk nodded. “That second material, it is often found within vines. It seems to cancel out the effects of the first, unless properly implemented.” He withdrew a small vine from his pocket. Placing it on the table, he connected it to some wires.

”Step back…”

The vine erupted in golden strands, slicing through many things and reaching for the two of them.

”I have some real explosions, if this wasn’t what you were expecting.”

The doctor created a dome of safety around them both. Whatever it is, it is most definitely not supposed to be here. She began to make patterns with her hands, muttering under her breath.

Some kind of leftover from the previous owner of the system that we didn't catch when we rewrote the security systems."

The rabbits ran right over the lava, black eyes growing darker as they drew nearer to Hacob.
