The Valiant One gripped his dagger tightly, looking like he wanted to ram it into Platypus's chest. "If you have information that exonerates the Great Wizard, then testify at the trial. For now, don't interfere. We have more than enough cause to arrest and try him, and I'm afraid you can't get rid of an order of the council to arrest a fugitive simply by shouting about evidence that you claim to have procured."

"I am afraid there will not be a trial. There is not time for a trial. Valiant One, have you ever known me to try to cause harm to the-" Platypus cut off, looked around, made sure Nogard was out of earshot, and continued. "-Thread? What actual cause do you have? Rumors from the Brave Adventurer? You didn't even allow him to come to the meeting of the Council when this was first decided! You adjourned the Council before he arrived! For Adonalsium's sake, do you want the Thread to die?"

He glanced around, trying to relocate the Silent Hero.

The rabbits began moved softly, the vibrations in the ground barely perceptible even to Hacob's senses as they stalked closer.

Hacob spun, flinging ash all around, covering the invisible rabbits with it. As long as he didn't lose track of them, he could stall for long enough for TP to get the Great Wizard here.

"The General is a wily foe. And powerful." ... raised a finger. "But any foe can be defeated, if you have information about them and think normally. She is one of the most powerful shapeshifters of her kind, as you can see, and she wields the maces of the Four Ghanderflaffle kings. One can disrupt Narration and other related abilities, one gives her mastery over the elements, one absorbs energy from her opponents, and the last... I do not know what the last mace does. It is a secret known only to Ghanderflaffles. So, given this information, what do you think we should do?"

The lightning was absorbed into one of the General's maces harmlessly, and she continued her swing towards TP's wing.

Ahead of the group, a volcano loomed. There appeared to be a person there, scattering ash about, and the ash was... floating?

Obserdly loud gasp!!! You better not mean that! Angry glare and brother band is not better then rangers apprentice. And quite frankly it’s the last one in the three series. It goes the og series. Royal ranger and then brother band. Alright, but all are really good. And how have they gone downhill???? What doth you mean by that!?!

Objectively, at least brotherband went downhill. last book was significantly worse than first 3. also, where would you place early years?

Every series first 3-4 books were great. Ranger's Apprentice was great all the way through, Royal Ranger decreased in quality, so did Brotherband after 5-6 books. I just love the crew dynamic so much more than Will and Horace (all are great characters, but the crew dynamic is way funner and Royal Ranger ruined Will for me. Made him too much like Halt, felt like they recycled the concept.)

it's been a hot second since I read royal ranger, but I thought it was fine all the way through to where I got. I do love the crew dynamic. my list probably early years, brotherband (except the second to last and last one), og series, royal ranger, last 2 brotherbands.

Will was like that cuz his wife died! And training Maddie was suppose to bring him outa depression so he wouldnt continue his killing rampage becuase of the grief. And its also more then will and Horace. Halt Gilan (cant remember the kings name) alyss (rip) Pauline Jenny. All them.

Spoiler

but that doesn't mean he had to be like Halt. He became very similar to Halt, with a very similar dynamic. It just felt kinda lazy.

Does Asher want them to be taken away?

No asher is just confused because they are feeling something and they haven’t felt anything but confusion occasionally for like forever. Like 5 or more years. So they now think they are dying becuase they have no clue what is happening. They felt a similar emotion when they got killed originally becuase of who had killed them. And they were shocked that they killed Asher. And so now the feeling of shock is almost linked to death.

Does that make remotly any sense

Oh, early years was great, top tier. (first books I ever read, for some weird reason 😂)Also Royal Ranger was by far the worst, after book 3 it got weird with like outright supernatural stuff that didn't fit at all.

Final List: Brotherband 1-3, Early Years, Ranger's Apprentice, Brotherband 4-6, Royal Ranger 1-3, Brotherband 7-9, Royal Ranger 4-7(?)

Lowkey I forgot that early years existed. I loved it, it’s up there with og if not above it. Because it was AWSOME to see everything that happened before and also halts story. And the stuff about the king and his rangers. It was great. (I don’t remember much about these books becuase it’s been forever since i read them. I just know they were AWSOME!!

Tam looked at Asher. "You're not dying," she said to them, "And you're not dead either. You're actually perfectly healthy now."

Well, good thing you like Shoe, he grinned mischievously, because I was absolutely trying to trick you just now.
