Pyk initiated his shift, and they appeared not far from a scene of death and destruction. One group of people was pulling a number of civilians out of the ground, while another was newly arriving. Tenth and a man were there, but disappeared.

well its not an actual teleport, they are just accellelerating very very fast and they become intangible. (Also, their bodies are held together. Im not actually sure if there is some time travel going on here, but it might help with the mechanics. [whaaaaaat tiiiimer travel? Who said thaaaaaaat?])

“Thanks,” he said again. It was nice of her… but he really had screwed things up, hadn’t he? “Why are you sick? Can’t she just…” he trailed off. She couldn’t, not until the tattoo ink wore off. 

Unless the tattoo ink had made him sick, because he wasn’t a member of Bat’s species… 

Bat shrank into himself. Why was he so chasmbound useless?
