Someone who can use the ordered darkness magic system, which is all about nullifying energy. They're somewhat of a secret society.

Sequence appeared, having forgotten how to be awake for a while.

"Gah! I think I was... helping people find Onyx? I wonder how that went. Maybe I should find them again..."

Busy weekend :D

You're with Erif and Tull (and Ista) in the room. It looks the same as the room where the inspector brought them (except overgrown), if Sequence remembers that.

Vines grew along the wall, red and purple and orange and every other color except green. Cracks had formed in the walls, and outside... well, there wasn't anything outside.

There was a door to a back room, but the vines had covered it completely.

Bacon pecked around in his best pigeonlike fashion until he was satisfied there was nothing in the room, then went to check the next one.

Shoe waddled further down the hallway. He was confused why Ciara hadn't shown up yet.

Something crashed in the other hallway, closer this time.

I'm sure that's nothing, thought Bacon.

You just have a knack for it, I guess 🤷‍♂️

Are you asking about making an Ennuller character?

Ah, yes! I do indeed :D

Sequence looked around. "Hm. Something... Happened. Here, I think."
She walked up and touched one of the vines on the wall carefully.

Well, the Ennullers as a whole are an organization that takes care of the Thread, making sure that the dangerous threats inside cannot escape. (That's the Narrators and the withergeists.)

Although there are some Ennullers who have gone rogue, such as Ciara.

The vine shivered. Up close, it became apparent that thin black veins ran along its length. They were slowly growing.

The wind blew again, sounding eerily like the screech of the dream eater.

Sequence recoiled, pulling her hand back to her chest swiftly. "... Eugh... Something definitely happened." She looked around at the others in the room. "Should we just... Cut through them?"

"Seems reasonable," said Erif, pulling out a knife and beginning to saw through the vines holding the door shut.

No; as long as Narrators don't try to escape the Enullers are happy to let them be.

Sequence shrugged and summoned her Narrationblade, which she slashed through the vines rather effortlessly with. The blade cut through the vines neatly, leaving behind some smoke and burnt material, and passed through the walls that it connected with harmlessly.

Erif pulled hard on the door and it opened.

Folding chairs and tables lay scattered around the room, overgrown with vines. Rusted domes hung from the ceiling, a few having fallen to the floor.

Across the room, a door sat ajar. Lights flickered in the room beyond, along with the sound of muttering.

Sequence wrapped her arms around herself, looking around the room. "Well, this place is supposed to be, like... A palace. It certainly was last I was here. It looks.. abandoned, almost. Is Onyx or the Inspector even still here? ... Is anyone still here? The guide was still here, we know that... She doesn't enter the castle, if my memory serves me right, but she didn't seem off or anything, did she? This whole place seems... weird. Weirder than normal, which is saying a lot."

I think there may have been confusion! Erif wanted to know where the inspector was- that's who the guide said he might be able to find in unreal space.

"Someone's still here," said Erif, pushing through the vines and walking over to the partially-open door and pushing it open.

Inside, a glasses-wearing man sat hunched over a small screen. He was muttering to himself, too quietly to be heard. He made no response as Erif entered.

"Hey," said Erif. "Do you know where I can find the Inspector?"

Shush! Shoe thought, panicked.

The crashing noises increased in frequency and were getting closer.
