“Hmmm… a good choice. Much honor and glory there, and besides the legendary spear, there is much treasure their as well. The trail is mostly hidden, that leads to our goal, but we can start at the tower of ostridos. There, on the walls, are the first clues.”

Another Narrator watched the group of heroes from the shadows, trying to quell the bone-chilling fear welling up in her soul.

The fear had nothing to do with the quest of course. It had everything to do with the fact that at any time, Subversion could pop out of existence without so much  as a whisper. Or at least it felt like that.

but still, Subversion watched from the shadows. It was kinda her thing. Perhaps she’d even interfere with the quest, to help or to harm, whichever she felt more like doing.

“Already getting ready I see, nice to meet you, Nogard, I am Woe. Shall we set off to the first clue?”

"Action is my middle name!" declared Nogard eagerly.

Shoe's name was not Nogard; who was Nogard?

He felt... someone watching him. Multiple someones. He looked around but did not see anything. Probably best to ignore that, for now.

In style if the TLT way, they travelled quickly, until they reached a massive canyon that they couldn’t just walk over. On the other side of the canyon was a huge tower reaching into the clouds. “Here we are. And a good thing their is a bridge here as well for us to use.”

An old, rickety wooded bridge appreares, spanning the entire gap.

”So who is first?”

One of the wooden planks snaps and falls, spinning, to the ground far below. The other one that his foot was on repeats the fate of the previous plank and vanishes as well.

“It a little old, but it should still work!” Woe cries.

Nogard shrugged. "I'll trust your judgement!"

He strode confidently onto the bridge, hopping over the missing planks and keeping one hand firmly on the rope railing.

Woe quickly reaches out his hands and closes his eyes. A platform appears floating beneath Nogard. Nogard slams into it. That must have hurt.

Shoe (who was almost to the other side) grabs a rope as the bridge falls, and swings to the other side. He slams against the cliff face. Hard.

“Maybe it isn’t so safe. Ummm, Shoe I’ll come help you! Once author, will you get Nogard?”

Woe reached out his hands again, this time however, the rope that held Shoe snapped.

“Ah!” Woe was so startled that he forgot about shoe who was falling quickly to his death. “How do you get up here?”

Shoe began falling very, very fast.

The Once-Author nodded, narrating himself next to Nogard.

Shoe was almost to the bottom of the chasm. He flailed wildly to regain everyone's attention.

Woe made another floating olatform to catch him. This time with a pad. “You alright down there?” The platform began floating up to the rest of them.

Shoe gestured at Woe to the other side of the chasm, as if to say, why don't you just float us over?

“You could have just said ‘why don’t you float us over…’” Woe jumped into shoe’s platform.
“hop on guys, we will float over!”
