Thaidakar gave a charming smile, "You are a bold one, Drilk, a very bold one..." Thaidakar's narration blade melted into a flock of birds which flew out the door behind him. "Move the blade away from my son." 

Spook raised an eyebrow, "Try to kill me, I dare you." Thaidakar gave him a strong look, but Spook said again, "If you try, you won't be able to." Maybe it was just the fact that Thaidakar wanted him to be quiet, but Spook wanted to be more involved. Everyone(non personified) kept thinking he was unable to do things, that he was somehow weaker. No, he wanted to prove that he was at least as good as them if not even better. So, therefore, he must prove himself more than he already had.

“I like your spunk kid,” Drilk said. “If you ever want more in your life, seek out the one called Feanor.” He turned toward Thaidakar. “We will meet again, and next time I will defeat you.” Drilk grabbed a pendant from around his neck and disappeared.

 

“My lord,” Drilk said, bowing before Feanor. “I have failed, Thaidakar still lives.”

A glowing figure that Platypus could recognize as Subversion appeared suddenly. "Platypus. Your help is needed. An enemy has arisen who threatens this thread and everyone in it. Those who would oppose him are gathered in the home of Eof."

Platypus starts glowing with Narration. 

"So my Author has gathered from his secret sources." (totally not an SU) "I come to you now, and I will bring Hacob. I'm sure he'll be useful."

The glow disappears and the area gets dark as it is suddenly night there. Platypus appears next to the warp in Eof's house.

"I'm not going in there," he calls to the people in there. "You can come out or I can go."

Hacob jumps straight towards it, then stops. Platypus looks at him before telling him that he is now an independent being with a free will. He, similarly to Kilometers, cannot be affected by Narration. Hacob thanks Platypus and asks him to thank his Author, before jumping in.

 

Meanwhile Kilometers, drawn by the rift in space, arrives at Eof's house. He had been blissfully unaware of what was happening in the thread and was confused at the snippets of conversation he catches. He decides that he would rather like to get revenge on all the Authors except the one that had freed him. Immediately feeling a dark presence, he sets off to find Feanor.

Kilometers is trying to be a double agent, but when he finds Feanor he will be identified as such. Just FYI. and remember, he can't be Narrated unless he so chooses.

Shadow sighed, standing up, "If he was..." Shadow shook his head. "Feanor mentioned in that encounter, as I can recall from the record, that he had a list of people he wanted to kill. We can assume that Thaidakar is on that list. But... who else? Who else could be on it?

Spook, the about 24 year old, shrugged, "Well he seems annoying..."

Thaidakar shrugged, "Well... I'm going to go take a nap. That mordite dagger is annoying." And, with that, he left the room.

 

Feanor sighed, "how long must I deal with your failure?" The being rubbed his cloaked wrists. "Then I must give you another mission to help you accomplish your first one. Go to the shining isle in Havalinar. There you will find the scientist Rond. Tell him that you need his help in eliminating Thaidakar Von Kelsier and that this mission was given to you by Feanor, the son of Enlightenment and Revolution." 

He smiled, turning away from Drilk, I like him, he thought, but I doubt that he'll survive the ending... Too bad, I would've liked to show him the ropes of manipulating the flow of plot.

“Who else is as important as Thaidakar? Are there any conclusions we can draw based on his being on the list?” Ryss asked.

"I would've said Nameless," Micheal said. "Another person we can bring us is anyone who has a blade of Plot, but importance doesn't mean Feanor wants to kill them."

Moni hesitated. "Actually, I was thinking I'd go talk to Feanor."

Ryss paused. “That does seem like the best idea on where to go to find out who’s on his list. Let’s go talk to Feanor.”

"You... aren't objecting? Huh. I thought everyone else here would hate this idea."

Ryss shrugged. “You know more about Feanor than me. If you think this could work then I won’t object.”

[Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him]

"Talk to Feanor?" Micheal asked. "We want to go talk to the guy who obliterated the Brave Adventurer, had my family murdered and has access to mordite stuff?"

Shadow grinned, "We'll need a backup plan if we do go, however. I can summon a rift in TLT to send us somewhere safe. And, if we need to, we can find a way to capture Feanor. Any ideas for that?"

Moni shrugged. "Whatever we come up with probably won't work. We don't know enough about Feanor to make a good plan."

"Then our plan is to walk up and have a little chat? I mean, I'm not opposed to talking to him, but I would rather not take any unduly risks," Shadow said, having another bite of his food.

"Then we should at least figure out a place to meet-up again," Shadow insisted. "I would rather not go to talk to Feanor, then he attacks us and we all scatter to the winds."

"All right. If we get split up, we can meet at Nameless' house. It should be safe from Feanor. It's survived the end of the universe at least once."

“Okay.” Ryss said. “How do we find Feanor? And should we bring him some Lasagna? A little gift for the murderer?”

Moni snorted. "I'm not bringing him any gifts, but I can probably find him. It's a power I have from Nameless. I can get where I want to go, find things I need to."

“That’s useful.” Ryss said. “Let’s go find him.” Ryss said.

Moni nodded. "All right, follow me." She started walking away from the table in no particular direction.

Ryss followed silently, and grabbed a bit of lasagna. He dusted off a few wood chips and stuffed it in a leather bag that materialized in his hands.

Shadow sighed, following Moni, "Let's get this over with."

Micheal trailed along too, thinking about revenge.
