Fluffy blinked, stepping away awkwardly.

Fuzzy nodded understandingly. “My apologies.” She then vanished.

Meanwhile, someone began to ponder about how they’d start their shop.

The brave adventurer slams his hammer down onto the red-hot bar, then curses softly under his breath, examining the new bend in the partly-forged metal. All this blacksmithing stuff was a lot harder than he'd thought it would be. And he didn't have any customers. He shakes his head, picking the bar up with tongs and placing it back in the forge to be melted down, then sits down to rest for a bit. Maybe he should go ask that puffball thing if it needed a weapon? No, he was sure that the customers would come eventually. Surely someone would need a new weapon for use in this new world.

The adventurer pulls the metal bar out of the forge slams his hammer down on the metal bar again, causing the duck to jump. “Rusting bar won’t bend to my will!” the adventurer yelled.

The brave adventurer jumps, pulling one of the display swords off the wall and pointing it at the intruder. “Hey! How’d you get in here?”

I'm kinda disappointed at how little has happened, but kinda relieved too.

Platypus wondered where the chicken had been. He also wondered if people ever thought about how being controlled by a person, or more than one person would feel. Then he shuddered and "POofFed" away.

Subversion was also disappointed in the lack of stuff going on, and offered to teach Platypus how it felt to be controlled by someone else.

Platypus saw what happened to Levi and decided to respectfully turn down Subversion's offer. He wondered why people try to control others so much. He was in a very introspective mood.

Subversion was in a very outro-spective mood, so she read Platypus’ mind and started subtly changing it into a shadow duck.

Platypus noticed immediately as he was diving around in there so he changed it back and forced Subversion out of his mind.

Subversion watched Levi with fascination. New Narrators were always so interesting.

Subversion took the opportunity to make Platypus a new avatar named Hacob.

Sadly, the tiny bit of specialness that the bullet did have was on that occasion expended in a most unusual way.

Verin was actually quite nice and had been one of Nameless’ favorite WoT characters, so no one knew why she’d gotten the “prickly” nickname.

This would have made Nameless sad, but he wasn’t really around to know, so it was fine. Subversion approved of the name expectation subversion though.
