"No. Root." He turned and poked the wall, then the rock. He blepped at it, then grinned. "Ah ha! The Fountain of Root!"

The mysterious figure looked up, they unhooded themself and smiled. It was not, indeed, Glimph. For, it was actually AdoKho. Mythos gave his son a look then teleported away. AdoKho grinned and drank more root.

"Hum. Why did he do that, I wonder?" The other cloaked figure asked AdoKho, taking a drink from the Fountain of Root.

Rym stood up and walked up to Mythos.

"The prophecy...the same one before the attempted re-creation of the thread? That prophecy?"

"That prophecy has not yet come to pass. This one is separate." The cloaked figure shook their head and turned to walk away. "This one will turn out in a way that no one expects, I wager."

AdoKho shrugged, "my father," he had a drink then continued, "is an interesting fellow. I suppose he gets it from my grandfather, Thaidakar."

Rym, slightly annoyed that no one was answering his question, intruded on the conversation.

"Thaidakar...What did happen to him, anyway? I haven't seen him, and neither has Bookwyrm or his other avatar. He did come back, at one point..."

"He finally up and died, thank goodness." AdoKho wiped his mouth, "the guy was a bit past the point of him being a good character."

"I do not know. Perhaps I should look into it. That would be good, would it not? An interesting Plot, a good introduction."

"Hm..." Rym stood in silence for a moment. Then he turned to the cloaked figure.

"What's your part in all this? Or are you just a random bystander?"

"...I looked right at him when I addressed him....nevermind. That's irrelevant." Rym pulled out his Mordite sword and used it to open a portal.

"I'll be back later," he said. "This prophecy intrigues me and the one who I answer to." He stepped through, and the rip in the air vanished.

The cloaked figure shrugged and continued to walk away.

Behind him, a tiny rip remained where Rym had sliced the Thread, invisible to all but the most skilled eye.

The other cloak figure jerked back to reality. "What, huh? Who?" He shook his head. This kirst imagination!

"Telkan? Zimtephth?" The other cloaked figure walked over to Unintelligible. "Root akweg?"

"Telk du mat..." The other cloaked figure (still cloaked) pulled out a waterskin and filled it with root, handing it over to Unintelligible. "Drvin eso."
