NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 "With this knowledge, you'll be able to annoy Thaidakar for a good ten minutes or so."
Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Thaidakar laughed then started sipping his lemonade as he teleported to Hawaii, a version of Hawaii in the multiverse where people were a bit more friendly. it was really a nice place, a narrator sponsored the place. Thaidakar didn't know who the narrator was, unfortunately. but he knew he would have a good time.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 The Narrator's identity was revealed as the universe began destroying itself.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 This narrator was Thaidakar. He had forgotten that he had sponsored Alternate-Hawaii a long time ago. The rifts in the universe gave Butt Venture quite a fright.
Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Thaidakar widened his eyes at the name, "Thaidakar? how many of me is there?" The Thaidakar support group chairman shrugged as he died from a giant slab of stinky cheese made using wither essence and for the Witherlord's table.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 This stinky cheese attracted a gigantic horde of hungry Urn Dragons from light years around.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Meanwhile, Nameless had given RMH a mysterious box, telling him not to open it until the last moment.
Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 the question then was, the last moment of what?
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Fortunately, Nameless had a rather conservative view of quests, so he didn't tell RMH.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 RMH suddenly noticed the gigantic horde of interstellar Urn Dragons.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 He immediately opened the box, only to find another smaller box inside with a note that read "Not yet" taped to it.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 This moment of distraction was a big mistake. In the brief moment that he read the note, RMH had one of his arms eaten by one of the Urn Dragons.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 One long and painful visit to the nearest surgeon later, RMH had a nice blade where half his arm used to be.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) It was made of a previously unknown metal that was incredibly durable. RMH would have felt comfortable fighting even a Narrator wielding a Narrationblade with this new sword-arm. Edited July 20, 2022 by The Bookwyrm
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Luckily, by running a special electric current through the sword-arm, RHM could turn of its magnetism if needed.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Unfortunately, that electrical current also really messed with his heartbeat.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 So he decided to get a mechanical heart as well.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 This turned out to be a bad idea, as now the electricity messed with his heart even worse.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 RHM needed to do something to save his life. He couldn't think of what to do. So he hired a consultant.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) The consultant reccomended him a great lawyer to sue the heck out of whatever doctor had suggested making a mechanical heart out of a lead-cadmium alloy. Edited July 20, 2022 by Nameless killing the repeated words.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Unfortunately, RMH was unable to contact the lawyer because he was dying.
NameIess Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Fortunately, his life insurance company had other plans.
Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Thaidakar watched this from his couch. his air cameras were catching it all quit nicely. he was getting nice reception too...
NameIess Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Asi yipped happily from his position atop Thaidakar's head.
