For across the universe, a lowly caterpillar decided to eat a voidapple.

A very hungry caterpillar at that.

there was a pineapple in the way however

So it ate that first.

And it was still hungry.

so it ate the Voidapple

And it was still hungry.

 So it ate another.

In fact, he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice-cream cone, one pickle, one slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon.

That night, he had a stomach-ache.

Just now, Ookla the Groovy said:

The next day, the caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.

but he was hungry, so he ate a yellow leaf

Now he wasn't hungry any more - and he wasn't a little caterpillar any more. He was a big, fat caterpillar.

He built a small house, called a Voidcocoon, around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and . . .

The Voiderfly had arrived. He was prepared to reign this puny world.

He was so beautiful, all knelt at his feet. Those who did not did not survive.

Except for the Canadians. Somehow, they lived on without kneeling.

Because they were so neutral that no one cared about them and no one wanted their frigid land.

So cold, in fact, that anytime the Voidfly came near, he turned away in shivers of self-confidence issues. How were the Canadians so cool? He wish he knew how to be cool...
