it was the Ghanderflaffle Empire, rising once again

Driven by the recently-re-branded sandwich shop formerly owned by Mr. Venture.

But as the Ghanderflaffle empire rises, so too must their fatal enemies. The FlaffleGhander empire was rising.

The empires and their sandwich shops planned to battle each other.

The empires assembled their armies, and the sandwich shops assembled their delivery services in preparation for the battle.

And on the first of April, the battle commenced!

It being the first of April, their attacks consisted only of pranks on each other, such as:

Murder, burning of cities, and poisoning of wells.

They were rather practical jokers.

The armies, on the other hand, were into the psychological pranks. Which is how the screaming horror was born.

One soldier decided to poison a well with glitter.

It got everywhere

It caused demoralization among the troops.
