I had been thinking about it for a while but couldn't decide between A-Steel with either F-Brass, F-Iron, or F-Steel.

As @Slimy_Slider points out that F-Brass with storing body heat is nice if you live in a warm climate (darn Texas heat). It would help save on an electric bill that's for sure. Steel Compounder would be really fun to have, although not sure about the slow movement to store the speed. F-Iron would only really benefit the A-Steel. Not much use for it outside of that from what I could think of (On second thought it would probably be pretty useful in sports.)

I guess it comes down between "How practical would it's uses be?" vs "How much fun would it be?" A-Steel/F-Brass is probably the most practical, followed by A-Steel/F-Iron in second then Steel Compounder in third. Steel Compounder is probably the most fun, but I wouldn't want to store it ever... which would then have A-Steel/F-Iron in second again with A-Steel/F-Brass trailing in third.

So in the end I guess I've decided to go with being a Crasher just because it's a "best of both worlds" scenario. Practical and fun in that you don't have to worry as much about the anchors you're using, or the damage you could potentially do by just flying and using random anchors.

Side Note: While thinking about it A-Iron would be really fun to have in a big city. You could basically swing around like Spiderman.

Zinc compounder would be one of my first picks, so would steel compounding. Non-compounding, I'd choose a-steel and F-copper, A-pewter and f-steel, or A-brass and f-bendalloy

...wow. I made this on my first day of the Shard, like some other threads, and it is the only one that is still alive.

I would definitely be a zinc compounder... The ability to basically think super fast.  Seems like it would only be good in specific instances, but would be my pick anyway.

Personal I would either like to be a

A-Bendalloy F-Zinc so I could out-think anyone anywhere. Escape room? No problem I'll spend 1minute in fast time with 8x mental speed and have figured it out.

Or I would be A-Nicrosil F-Steel so I could run up to someone burning a metal and watch as their power explodes, figuratively. How fun it would be to touch someone burning iron. They would get smashed!

Oooo, now that's a super fun and potent power! I like it.

Or I would be double chromium, like my Alleyverse character. Infinite luck, plus the power of being a leecher.

Double luck would be pretty sweet. Like walking around always under the effects of that Harry Potter luck potion.

I still think I'd go A-Brass/F-Zinc (if not Bendally/Zinc). The practical uses of that combo are amazing. Not to mention.. all the money making opportunities lol (which, I guess there'd also be a lot of Money making opportunities with double luck too haha)

I love thinking of all the combinations!

Electrum would be nice, actually.  Walk into a casino and know which slot machines to go to and when.  You only need a few seconds into the future to do that.  Play a game of cards and know when to fold and when not to.  Being able to see your own future for a few seconds is amazingly valuable, especially if it grants the mental capacity to understand what you're seeing.

I think I'd go double steel, as it's probably the most available metal, and I love the steel allomancy and feruchemy.

If compounding was not available, I'd go with bendalloy allomancy with pewter feruchemy. I would love to be able to create speed bubbles. Storing muscle won't annoy me too much, either.

My number one is Allomantic pewter and Feruchemical gold for some light compounding.  You only need one good piece of gold (or a bunch of little pieces), but don't need to swallow and burn them, and can simply store the excess healing from the Pewter instead of getting sick.

But if a Twinborn with F-gold and A-pewter flared pewter while filling a goldmind, would that not disrupt the goldmind storage? Because you're not all that "weak", are you?

On the other hand, filling a goldmind, halting, and then burning pewter to help recover from doing so could still work to "speed things up".

I like that term "light compounding" though, in that the powers are complementary and "stack up". Burning pewter would help reduce the downtime from filling a goldmind, and tapping a goldmind would help recover from pewter dragging.

Why would that disrupt the goldmind storage?  The extra healing you get from the Pewter would simply go into the gold, instead of healing you.  You'd still get all the other benefits of pewter (strength, speed, reflexes, etc.), but if you got hit while storing, you'd heal normally, instead of as if you were burning Pewter.  In this way, you'd never get "Weak" in comparison to a normal person, but you would be "Weak" in comparison to someone burning Pewter.

Since a person only needs to heal when they need to heal, you could technically store your healing in the Goldmind every time you burned Pewter.  That much healing would add up, especially over time.  You could even become a Pewter Savant pretty quick by just eating and flaring Pewter all day on days when you have prep time, shunting all the healing into the goldmind, instead of being sick all day doing the same.  Or you could make yourself sick all day and store even more, even faster.

Then you go on a pewter drag and run across the country, pulling out the healing in the Goldmind when it starts to overwhelm you, or when you get to the end so you don't pass out.  Geez, you'd be unstoppable.  Imagine Miles Hundredlives with the strength of Pewter. Sure, the healing isn't as infinite as gold compounding, you maybe couldn't take a grenade to the face more than once a day, but still, the increased durability of the Pewter mixed with a huuuuge source of healing would be astounding for the average day..

I've done a couple of these before but never could think of a really good twinborn type until recently. I would want AL. Iron and FE. Gold. I could drag tons of stuff towards myself, throw my body at thing/people (hard), and lack metal weapons back at me. And I could do this without fear of permanently hurting myself.

Double Nicrosil. You could compound unkeyed metalminds from other metalborn and make yourself fullborn in effect. This seems like a hack though so who knows if it would work. If we are talking combat. F-Steel and A-Atium would be fairly potent.

I like the idea of a Nicrosil twinborn walking around with an aluminum pill case full of different types of Nicrosilminds in bead form. A pill for every occasion and then there would be the special compartment with the “Doomsday” fullborn pill.

I always liked the sounds of Double Tin, on the logic that both augment Senses but in very distinct ways, and being able to Fill Senses individually would be a great way to mitigate the drawbacks of Allomantic Tin.  And if also we're talking crossover abilities, Alleyverse, etc, I would want at least the 3rd Heightening on top of that.
