I've been a fan of Brandon's books for a couple years, and I found this site, but I didn't join then. I like Stormlight the best, I finished Oathbringer a little while ago, and I'm all ready to start over again. Happy to be here!

I found the quote button! I guess I like the giant crabs. That's pretty unusual imo.

@deacon, it took me FOREVER to find the quote button. Good for you for getting so technologically advanced so soon! Do you like crustaceans in general, or just crabs? And do you like spiders?

Ah. Here you are.  Ugly crab thing with too many legs.  It has been sad as its dearest friend, the wet slime who slunk across rocks with it on rainy days, has vanished.  He appreciates your affection.

I don't really like them, exactly, but I've never seen a fantasy novel that has anything like it so it really sticks out as awesome.

I agree that the Stormlight Archive is the best. My favorite character is Kaladin as well. My second favorite character is Lift. She is hilarious and mysterious at the same time.

What I want to know from all of you experienced forum goers is how do you make the name thingy show up. I copy and paste someones user name in my posts but can't make them look like the black reverse type name like it is below. How is it done?

I didn't really think about it until after I was done reading. And then I thought about every other book I read and realized how weird it was. But you're right, it does seem so right.

I believe this crab is actually a couple of legs short of a decapod.

I've also read Mistborn, though I don't remember a lot, and Warbreaker, and Elantris, and the Emperor's Soul. What about you?

(Is it weird that I know this)? The ugly lizard crab thing is Hoid's story had 17 legs. Yours has too few.
