To be fair, 'disagreeing' on bacon might mean that one of them prefers the crispy (burnt) type of bacon, while the other doesn't?

Let’s hope that that’s the case

I'm one that only like bacon partially cooked. I don't like crispy bacon.

Bacon is universal, it is the yet unconfirmed shard that rules all others. Even Odium bows before it.

Well Lift is a special case. She might not normally like bacon, but remember she has the ability to make herself awesome, which certainly implies liking bacon. We shouldn't get too hung up on the permanence of Lift, because she tends to be. Err. How to say this without offending her? Mercurial?

Questioner [PENDING REVIEW]

Could you tell me something about Lift that's not in the books?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

There are foods that Lift hates. They do exist. Things she does not like to eat, they are hard to find, but they do exist.

I am going to shock you all now...

I identify deeply with Lift here, because I dislike bacon. (The food, not the Sharder.)

Wow and to think I was prepared to adopt her. I am not sure I could have a bacon hater under my roof though that is sacrilege...

Of course I might be able to hide it from here in some of these bacon pancakes.

If I could give you a Shard, I would.

Edit: @What's a Seawolf? What was your cosplay?

Wasn't my WoB, but from reddit the couple who received it went as Elend and Vin.

Woah, was it the Chicago signing by any chance?

I'm trying to find it but I'm completely Reddit illiterate. Never been on the site before other than linked by other people.

Maybe Lift is a vegetarian?  Kind of fits...does anyone recall a scene in which she specifically eats meat of some sort?

Bless her, if that is the case, she just doesn't know how delicious bacon actually is.  We should feel sorry for her.

Pretty sure some of the pancakes had meat in them.

Also pretty sure that Lifts food preference is mostly related to her need for a high carbohydrate diet. Bacon isn't ideal for that when bread and pancakes are readily available.

She is in fact an omnivore.

But hadn’t she found a sausage in the bottom before tossing the pack? Oh, right. She’d eaten that while watching those riverspren a few hours ago.

For some reason I find this image disturbing and I can't quite pin down why. It's not the thought of those two foods together, it's just how it looks. Anyone else feel that way?

Nope, this is one of the most traditional ways to eat pancakes in my country.. except our pancakes can easily be 15 inches in diameter, not like these ones.

Lift, and her countrymen, aren't they, like, based on the Arabs? They eat only halal food I guess? That's why she doesn't eat bacon?

No, the Herdaz are based on Latinx and Hispanic people, I really doubt it has anything to do with earthly religions like Islam.
