Crisapx he/him
Well that would ruin my hopes, of Kaladin and Jasnah getting together. Thanks a lot!
The Rooster he/him
The thought of Kaladin being a secret Kholin is the thing I want least in the world for SA. This whole series (to me at least so far) has a core theme of the ridiculousness of nobility and points big fingers at the ways and justifications people implement to subjugate or enslave others. I like the Kholinars a lot, but to make Kaladin a secret Kholinar, thus making everyone who is a burgeoning KR protagonist of Noble blood rings so false to me. Kaladin is perfect because he is a darkeye, because he has struggled under that oppression. The Idea of him gaining lighteyes thru KR-hood and how that will effect him is interesting to me, but to learn that Dalinar whelped a bastard on some darkeyed woman... No thanks, I'll be so disappointed. Edited February 25, 2014 by AG Rooster

Dovie Andi Se Tovya Sagain he/him
Secret noble son trope is severely overdone, and i dont see Brandon doing this at all
The Count he/him
Also, if Kaladin turns out to be Kholin then there is some rather unnerving spen stalking of the family going on!

PunSpren he/him
I have to agree, This thought has been floating around in my head for awhile now, or at least a variant of it. We have seen so much pain and misery from Kaladin that at the end of TWOK ,when things finally started looking up for him I was estatic, and its precisely that that makes me worry so much. We know that there is a boatload of hate and mistrust in Kaladin, and the best part of it is, that we completely understand why. So what better way to tug on our heartstrings than have this character that we have come to love, that we see redemption for, turn the other way, to make a decision we hate ( and in doing so die) or kick the bucket before he is able to find that inner redemption. I would say we see more bad things/ death in line for Kaladin precisely because we love him so much. I for one am waiting for the other shoe to drop. Cromptj he/him
Not the worst possible twist, the worst possible twist would be that Dalinar was actually Gavilar but with some plastic surgery and memory loss, the reason he did this is to hide the fact that he had an illegitimate daughter a couple of years before he died called Lift. Terra of Roshar she/her
Not the worst possible twist, the worst possible twist would be that Dalinar was actually Gavilar but with some plastic surgery and memory loss, the reason he did this is to hide the fact that he had an illegitimate daughter a couple of years before he died called Lift. I don't know if that's the worst, per se. After all, it would be Awesomely bad. (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
Morsk he/him
Even worse would be that Kaladin isn't dying. Dalinar is making Kaladin into a vampire, and thinks of all the people he's made into vampires as his "sons". Then the entire rest of the series will be about vampires, who engineered the Everstorm so they can avoid sunlight. Hm. According to the Ym interlude, Iriali skin sparkles in sunlight. Coincidence? So what we're really going to see in WoR is a culture war between flying vampires from Alethkar, based on Lestat, and sparkly vampires from Iri, based on Edward Cullen.
