If you need to "assert your superiority" then it's likely that your assertion is unwarranted.

For what reason should anyone state the obvious? Explaining it to those who can't see it is a waste of time, and those who are observant need no explanation. So his Cosmere references are spot on, and his insults are more complex than the juvenile variety that dominate this thread. I was just critiquing the advice given.

The discription of this thread describes "insult battles". This thread was created for Roshar-related insults. I agree that wit and insults are two different things. Also, one would assume that if you were bored, you would want to do something(insult me) rather than abstain from it.
