That's totally what you said. I heard you clear as day from your meditation rock.

*Tosses meditation rock at Kobold's head.*

She shoots! She scores!

I don't believe I'm familiar with this method of meditation.

It's not for beginners or people without children.

Ahem. I don't believe that that's quite what I said. We need to get rid of some of our crap regardless of my current reading material. :-) I only mentioned "attachment" because of the way that you hit the fetal position at the mere idea of giving away a book.

Most books are easy to give away when you have them on Kindle.

Sanderson books are...not so easy.

Signed Sanderson books...well, you can have them when you pry them out of my cold, dead, and lifeless hands.  (You'll get the Oxford comma first!)

@The Queen Mother has been reading a lot of Buddhist literature and has decided we need to purge our household of attachment to worldly things. As a result we're getting rid of a lot of books for which we have the e-book copies of, as they currently sit on our shelves and are never ever touched.

I had a similar experience, though it's debatable if Schopenhauer is Buddhist literature or not...

I'm keeping my Wheel of Time for now, though :)

I got signed SoS for Christmas and it has literally not left my general vicinity since.

After deciding to avoid most of my time-sink websites (TV Tropes, Cracked), I found myself in need of another go-to site to read during downtime at work, and stumbled upon Wait But Why.

See you all in a month or so.

I love Wait But Why.

Ahem.

Awaken to my Breath, serve my needs, live at my Command and at my word. Another secret.

Another secret. Give me your signed Sanderson books. Another secret.

I wonder why she specifed she had to be Lifeless...

EDIT: While Wait But Why has yet to show me why it's awesome, I stumbled on the posts about procrastination. And because of that I want to thank you, @TwiLyghtSansSparkles, for linking WBW because that's what I needed to read. I'll read them again thorougly tomorrow if my internet gets back to working consistently.

As for right now - I'm turning off the computer and actually going to sleep instead of sitting in front of the computer unproductively
P.S. ('being productive' doesn't necessarily mean working or learning - I have a few games to play through but instead I check FB, Shard, Brandon's reddit for 17th time...)

The command phrase was already shared. It is "another secret"

Guys, I think I have a new ship. Charlie the Unicorn X South Park

How exactly does one ship a youtube series and a tv show?

It was the best way I could express my desire to see one cross over with the other.

Well that's a... unique crossover. What made you think of doing this?

Aww.  It's cute how you think that a mere stabbing can kill an exalted one such as myself.  Eldritch goddesses of eccentricity are made of sterner stuff than you mere mortals can comprehend without going mad.

Who said it was a mere stabbing?

Besides, we're all mad here.

Oversleep did.  When he said he stabbed me.  :P

Besides, as an eldritch goddess of eccentricity, I am immune to stabbing, bending, folding, spindling, mutilating, dog-earing, magicking, chopping, burning, burninating, hitting, punching, kicking, elbowing, headbutting, shooting, bazookaing, getting blown up, and getting nuked.*

Hmm, if you're an eldritch goddess of eccentricity, what about extreme boringness? Being trapped in a square room with off-white walls, beige furniture, and only lukewarm water to drink?

And.... nothing to read.
