SA covers are done by someone else than the rest of non-Alcatraz, non-Reckoners Sanderson books. (Alcatraz and Reckoners are with different publishers)

The first two also have some random knight whose weapon and sword are nothing like Shards. It's not supposed to be Dalinar if you want my opinion.

And my apologies; when I said "both" I was referring to Whelan and McGrath, who do the Stormlight and Mistborn covers respectively.

@Mestiv - As I said, I like the Polish Mistborn covers. I haven't seen the other two Stormlight covers, but that one for Oathbringer is just so...generic. It's like someone looked over a synopsis, seized upon the term "Knights Radiant," and decided that meant they could slap an ordinary medieval knight on there and call it good.

Good thing I didn't stop by B&N over the weekend. Preeetttyyy but also pretty generic fantasy. I prefer the US covers, they're much more specific to the actual stories. and Jasnah! Jasnah is awesome! And she's a woman on a fantasy cover who isn't the least bit sexualised she just looks like a badass hero!!!!!!!!

I was looking at jewellery to rent for my wedding. There was a bracelet thing that is basically a soul caster. Im posting on my computer and the pic is on my phone but ill see if I can post it in a minute. My point being, I think its a somewhat normal style of jewellery? At least, Brandon didn't invent it out of thin air.

Wedding was amazing and perfect and I almost had a panic attack and Pinnacle sprained his ankle dancing and then I jarred my knee but it was beautiful and all the importantly people were there and hapeez. If you want pictures.....maybe we can put up some in a PM?

Fuller House is pretty much a sequel to the 90's show Full House (not a very creative sequel name but it refers to how the house is fuller and DJ Tanner's married name is... Fuller). Claudia also wrote Bloodlines which is also about Leia, the only difference is Bloodlines is during the 6-7 gap while Leia is when she's a teenager on Alderaan.

I agree! I hate when a women is thrusting her boobs and crotch for no reason or is scantily dressed, unless she was raised in the wild and has no clue about modesty, so yah to positive women on covers! One of my favorite covers featuring a woman in a non sexy way is Mystic by Jason Denzel.

Got a book haul. Instead of just saying "look what I got" I'm going to use the titles to do a story:

There once was a man looking for meaning in his life. He searched through a holy book but the

did nothing to help. He decided to look to the court to help but

was too rigid. While walking around he saw the

City police and the fire department respond to a 

happening nearby. He was about to go home without finding his answer when he stopped in front of a restaurant. They were serving their house special, a soup filled to the brim with water

and lentils. That brought a smile to his face despite not finding his answer.

The end. Hope you guys enjoy my cheesy story. I wasn't originally planning on grabbing Cress nor Words of Radiance, I was going to get Three Parts Dead but they didn't have any of the Craft Sequence. One question, is the big paperback of WOR the updated ending or the 'wrong' ending?

Look how full my Sanderson shelf is now!

All I have left is Dark Talent, Bands of Mourning and Shadows of Self. I plan to pick those up at the Oathbringer signing in November.
