Dr Strange is Cosmere (spoilers)

Seriously.

We have an opening sequence with a bald windrunner. There are multiple sequences with lashings and running up walls and changing directions of gravity and falling down corridors.

We have an Awakened cloak.

We have magic glowing Aons.

Mordu (?) is very Nale-esque, rigidly following laws with no room for flexibility.

Discuss.

I actually acknowledged this while watching the film as well. It gave me a lot of hope for the upcoming films. Much of what they did in the movie looked similar enough to cosmere stuff and it looked good on screen. I really hope they get the artistic team that worked on Strange to work on the cosmere stuff too.

I was distracted by how much the movie reminded me of Inception with all the moving buildings, but it would look great for Cosmere. I hope they make the Stormfather scenes a bit better than Dr. Strange's CG final boss battle

True that. Except Dormamu is a little Generic CGI Face Monster and the Stormfather has way more personality than that.

I noticed the Aon thing, too! And got so excited that I told my friends, which got the responses of "Huh? What's an Aon?" (3 people) and "But none of the Eastern countries are shaped in the pattern of the base symbol..." (1 person).

I agree wholeheartedly with this post. There are so many things in that movie that can be explained with Cosmere magic: the cloak (Awakening),the other dimensions (the Cognitive realm), and the glowing symbols for weapons (Aons).

If we ever get a Stormlight TV show or movie, I would really like to see the Doctor Strange director do it... At least I think that's the guy that would have made all these calls, obviously, I'm not in the film industry
