ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Ah, I see... what's the wraiths alignment penalty? And the journal bonus?
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 It isn't quantified, it just says a penalty to interactions with Human- and Light-alligned creatures, and a bonus with questgivers respectively.
Voidus Posted November 12, 2018 Author Posted November 12, 2018 Just for the record:Voidus' character:Shadow_00002 - Wraith: Magic, Increase Endurance, Chanting Magic, Summoning, Trapping, Archery. Will get a post up later tonight.
ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Do we keep all our skills? Or did I lose smithing?
ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Yes!!! I think I don't mind the resets quite as much...
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 If you have smithing I may not work on increasing it, and just use my 1 skill level as an excuse to enchant metal better. Also, I am looking forward to some... experiments. I think we may have to set up a guild funds system, where a portion of our incomes is donated to a guild fund for item creation and stuff.
Voidus Posted November 12, 2018 Author Posted November 12, 2018 Still reset to lvl 1 in all the skills though.
ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I know, but having your preferred skill set means you can level faster in the long run, and you can put point allocation into things that are more useful, instead of having to redo everything all over again... then there might be skills that have to do with personal knowledge that wouldn't decrease for the people stuck in the game. So many options...
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 So what build are you going for?
ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 1 minute ago, The Young Pyromancer said: So what build are you going for? Well, originally, it was gonna be an epic warrior build, but then he wanted to help people, so he's gonna spec into support class skills, mostly.
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I'm going for the niches between magic systems and seeing what I can discover.
Voidus Posted November 13, 2018 Author Posted November 13, 2018 Shadow is a pretty generic rearguard sniper. Has taken summoning to allow him to solo when the need arises.
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Kirito might want to buy summoning stones at some point for experiments, and recruit a summoner for the same.
ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Cool... Hey @Inklingspren , what's your guy built for?
Ink he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Oh yeah, this. Uhh, I built Wister to be more of a scout/long range. also, I’m trying to post less to conserve my 1000th post, so I apologize if I am not super active here. Jan 9th is when I want to. I’m basically only going to be posting on this RP and maybe if I really need to other places.
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Okay. I look forward to your response in-thread!
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Pick skills then sign up and Voidus will give you stats. Also, Inklingspren, our characters just said their names. If that is intentional, don't say anything. If that isn't, you can edit your previous post in-thread. 2
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 @Voidus, do we get starting money?
Voidus Posted November 15, 2018 Author Posted November 15, 2018 1 minute ago, The Young Pyromancer said: @Voidus, do we get starting money? Yes, but not much. Don't have the exact number I was using to hand but will say around 50gp
The Young Pyromancer he/him Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Is it about what it is worth in DnD? Because if so, that's a lot for the average person.
