Bugsy he/him Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 We know that Joe is a member of GoH, and assuming they're an open faction, they know the most of any of us right now. If they have reason to believe the Ghostbloods are trying to kill us all, I'm willing to take the chance that they're telling the truth. I mean, Joe just drew huge attention to himself by trying to kill twice consecutively, and since the second kill was on a GB (not an independent or a CoA), I think he was probably honest about wanting them dead for some reason. Since, as an independent, my win conditions do not directly pertain to any other faction, I'm going to be primarily focused on eliminating threats to myself. That will primarily take the form of helping other players so as not to be targeted (as I've done to the best of my ability so far), but in the case of an outed GB or other player I suspect of intentionally targeting independents or unintentionally targeting independents to an unnecessary degree via spamming of kills, I will try to get them lynched before I do a suspected GoH. Also, Dalaniar, how did you know the GB's color?

I agree that PK was unnecessarily targeted, but Luckat was clearly revealed to be a Ghostblood and Joe has said he will refrain from killing Ghostbloods (and, actually, at all) without good reason. I'm of the opinion that he's being honest, because he can only really break his word once before the village retaliates by lynching him, and I think he'd rather preserve his life. To those of you who are CoA, it probably is in your best interests to lynch him, but it isn't really in mine.
Amanuensis he/him Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Well, either way he probably won't die to this lynch if he is Rayse, like I know suspect

Nyali she/her Posted September 25, 2016 Author Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) Night 3 - Confessions Jonly the Terrisman stood before the gathered crowd. He was grim-faced, but resolute. He knew many had already decided to kill him, so what did he have to lose? It was time to come clean. "Thank you all for coming. I have a few confessions to make." "Kill him!" shouted a voice from the crowd before being shushed. "Err, right. Anyway, I was the one who defenestrated Luckat," Jonly continued. "Huh, I guess that's okay," said someone from the crowd. "But, let's kill him anyway!" Jonly rolled his eyes. "No, look, I'm only killing Ghostbloods, and I'm only defenestrating them. It's fine, you'll see." "Let's kill him anyway!" came yet another voice in the crowd, more murmuring their ascent. "Hold on, I'm not done! I have more to say!" Jonly protested, motioning with his hands for the angry mob to calm down a moment so he could speak. "Okay, everyone, let's listen to Jonly." came another voice from the crowd. Jonly sighed in relief. "... and then kill him," the voice finished. Jonly groaned. "Okay, look, if someone dies to defenestration, it's me. I like shoving people out windows, but I'm not going for any of you. Well, not many of you. Just the Ghostbloods, okay? I have personal goals to achieve, and so do you, so leave me alone." "Hmm, I dunno. I still think we should kill him," said the first voice, a little too loudly. The rest of the crowd shushed him, as Jonly cleared his throat, indicating he still had yet more to say. "Fine, here, I'll confess. I'm a member of God's Own Hate, the faction you all think wants to kill all of you. But it's not true! We have no desire to kill anyone! We just want to live peaceful lives, in harmony with the rest of you. And, err, kill some Ghostbloods. They don't count though, am I right?" Jonly flashes the crowd a hopeful grin. "I'm just a peaceful terrisman. Don't let the name of my faction fool you! We can all be friends. ... right?" The crowd stared at him silently. "That's... that's good silence, right?" Jonly said, hopefully. The crowd, still saying nothing, slowly surrounded him. Jonly panicked, looking for a way out, but there was none. The crowd descended on him like a murder of crows, and when they were done, nothing remained but Jonly's Terris robes. No sign of his body was found, and none saw him escape, and yet, the crowd suspected it was not the last they'd seen of Jonly. Silverblade5 he/him Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Well, I guess we can now say he's Odium's champion. Think he might be the only member + Odium?
Amanuensis he/him Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I think he is Odium himself. If anyone on Roshar has a kill ability, please refrain from attacking him. Harmony's second goal is having a direct hand in removing Rayse from the game via lynch.

Do you think that Odium can survive another attack though, or will he die properly the next time we kill him? I'd rather we actually manage to kill Odium with the lynch tomorrow and be done with it.

Mark IV he/him Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 It wouldn't. CoA have to kill ALL of GoH. So, we'd still have at least his champion, if not other members. And, looking at the size of CoA, I'd wager about 3 of them, if not 4.

I'm sorry, I thought ANY faction goal being met meant that the game ended, and that anyone who didn't have all their personal goals completed, would lose. So please tell me how this indicates I'm not a child.

So please tell me how this indicates I'm not a child. The fact that you didn't know the Children's win con makes it just a bit obvious that you're not a Child. I don't think you're GoH either right now, because I think that being in an open faction you'd have team-mates to correct your mistakes, so I'm guessing you're either an Independent or a closed-faction member, both of which are basically irrelevant to me, so I'm not trying to insinuate anything.

Really, I don't care that you're an Independent. In fact, if you reveal your goals, I'll do my best to help you unless they contradict with mine. But the more you keep on denying this, the more suspicious I get of you...

My logic was based off the assumption that GOH is a small faction consisting only of Odium and his champion. That was another error. Thank you for helping me realize that I'm not very logical at night.
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I'm not very logical at all times!!
Young Bard he/him Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) Could I ask a favour of everybody? I'll be online at rollover on Tuesday (or late on Monday night, if you're American...), but if you get to the Day 4 thread before I do, do you mind waiting to vote on Joe until after I do? One of my win cons is to lead the lynch on an [Evil] player, so it would help me greatly. 26 minutes ago, Silverblade5 said: Sorry. I didn't see Mark's post. I can't really be bothered arguing about this anymore, particularly since Independents aren't even mentioned in my win cons, so I don't particularly care if you are one. I highly doubt you're GOH, anyway. Edited September 25, 2016 by The Young Bard Fixed poor grammar.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Quote Paranoid King said during day three: (I can't quote from a locked post) Joe's defense: Me: You're killing someone every night? Joe: Not every night (disclaimer: actually yes, every night) Me: you were the first one to namedrop children. Joe: I'm a child Me: what color are ghostbloods? Joe: Pink Me: *Vote retraction* Aman: Yep, G's are pink. Joe's off the hook. Emphasis Mine. I would just like to point out that Paranoid King is a liar. He is putting Words in my mouth in order to get me killed. I never said I was a child. Because that is a Lie, and I don't lie in SE.

Thank you for helping me realize that I'm not very logical at night. So what is the current idea? I can't tell if we've decided either way whether GoH has just Odium and a champion or if they're a small group of four to five. I'm most interested in they whom have supplied these ideas. I will try to look deeper into that later when I'm not on mobile. Also, Just so everyone is aware, If you become mortally wounded, please come to Roshar. It is one of my goals to heal people.
