Complementing powers

This is basically the Upgrade Elantrian Pack but for Awakening. The Upgrade Awakener Pack: Breath, F-Zinc, F-Copper, and quite possibly F-Steel

  • Breath: Self-Explanatory; The Upper Heightenings are useful for Awakening, but I can largely circumvent them later
    • Heightening Six (1): Understand basic commands without training/practice (2): More complex commands are easier to discover/master
    • Heightening Nine (1): Awakening Stone and Metal requires specialized commands (2): Audible Command (Awakening via Voice)
    • Heightening Ten: Mental Command (Awakening via Thought)
  • F-Zinc: Increased mental speed to come up with creative awakening targets/commands to get out of a tough situation
  • F-Copper: Storing all manner of useful information pertaining to Awakening
    • If you can store the mental image of something you looked at, you should be able to store the mental pictures from visualizations for Awakening
    • Bypass most of 6th Heightening by storing the understanding it granted about both basic and complex commands. We were gonna use it as a Database of Commands anyway so why not store the knowledge straight from the textbook, rather than your interpretation of the information?
    • Bypass half of the 9th Heightening by storing the specialized commands required for awakening stone/steel.
      • If making more Nightbloods(Awakened Steel) physically required the Ninth Heightening, Vasher would not be as worried as he was/is since the only known person to reach it without holding Peacegiver's Treasure is Shashara.
    • Probably can't jury-rig Audible/Mental Command, but per Vasher, the priests know how to teach Mental Command to the God Kings so you can store the information if you want to test whether or not you can still do it.
  • The F-Steel is just in case you needed to quickly "make something" so it is more human-like or so it can be more useful in the situation
    • Ex: a broom can't grab people, but a broom with rope can, etc..

Returned and Feruchemical steel, Feruchemical pewter, Feruchemical gold.

Since Divine Breath allows you to shapeshift, you can make yourself absurdly muscular and keep your muscle mass on the normal level by storing pewter. You can also make yourself faster (Denth was inhumanly fast) which you can also store in metalmind without any drawbacks.

Now, storing gold is another thing as people of Fifth Heightening cannot get sick. We've been RAFO'd on people with Fifth Heightening storing atium.

As your idea specifically calls for Returned, do you think that suppressing your Divine Breath would open you up to sickness and/or aging?

I'm pretty sure Brandon said that's not the case. Either WoB or annotation.

They still consume Breath a week even when suppresing their Divine Breath. Although they are not technically at the Fifth Heightening at the time since it doesn't manifest... hm...

The Nightwatcher boon that allows you to convert food to Investiture and the Feruchemic power that lets you store food. And then any power, because you're a wizard whose Mana is food.

Just eat until you fill a Metalmind or two or fifty and then use whatever other power you want. Eat a hundred and fifty pigs and then make four more Nightbloods if you're feeling it. Use Gravitation to pull a moon into a planet you don't like. Make an Aon so big you can see it from Nalthis. As long as you have Bendalloy and a farm to eat, you're in business.

Edit: additionally, you've committed a mistake with the Aon idea. They don't draw Investiture from you

Feruchemical Electrum + Feruchemical Tin

Tapping electrum, you become more determined, and storing tin, you can dull your sense of pain. You become the ultimate berserker, able to shrug off just about any injury and fight until you literally drop dead.

Throw in allomantic pewter and/or feruchemical gold, and you're even better at shrugging off injuries...

I think this is essentially what makes A-Pewter Savanthood so dangerous.

Question wouldn't a Returned who had feruchemical gold be able to store unlimited health? Because Returned have perfect health and they can't cant get sick right?

We don't know. Oversleep brings this up about 7 posts above yours, near the top of the page.

Edit, Speaking of that:

I found what you were talking about in the Annotations.

Denth’s Speed

Yes, Denth is inhumanly fast. He’s a Returned, after all, and has all of the physical enhancements that come with that. Even when he’s chosen not to manifest most of them, he’s still got an edge, just like Vasher does.
