Hey sheep, who do you find the most suspicious?

It was Elodin, but I haven't read through the bit of Day 2 (I'm going back through the game from Night 1 before I read that) where he apparently became cleared (?), so I'm not sure.

EDIT:

Gamma, is it possible for someone to start of as Corrupted? (other than Fain)

(Just reread the rules and they don't explicitly state this couldn't happen, so... hmm)

No, he hasn't been cleared. I personally don't think he's an eliminator because there was basically no objection to lynching him for most of the day (and also I don't think we're so phenomenally lucky as to have both of the lynch candidates be Darkfriends...), but he isn't cleared. We're hopefully testing his claim of Dreamwalker tonight by targeting him with a Wolfbrother kill (although as I've mentioned already, there's the problem of a Darkfriend Channeler faking that by using Mask of Mirrors on him, and I'm not sure how to resolve that), which should at least clear things up a little bit. It's somewhat difficult to actually clear him, though, particularly when he can't be scanned while in the Dreamrealm.

Classic elim tactics that. It's for the good of the village! I'm just gonna need all of you except for these totally random people to all kill yourselves and then everyone left will be the same alignment! I'm not lying! Why are you killing me?

Elodin, if you're village, don't protect yourself. Otherwise we will have to waste a lynch on you. You understand, don't you? We'll learn a lot from that death.

?? The point of targeting him is to prove his claim. Not to kill him. Where did you get that idea?

Wolfbrothers and Thief-takers are village only roles, hence why they're in green in the role list. Apologies if I forgot to specify that. >.>
And as far as Fain goes.... PAFO. ;)

Wasn't that the point? I might've misread.

EDIT: Is dreamwalker always good?

No, the dreamwalker's not always good. But the idea is that the Wolfbrother who killed Orlok targets Elodin tonight, in order to figure out whether Elodin is actually a Dreamwalker or was lying about it and only detained by Gunshy. (As it stands we'll have to target him again tomorrow night in order to ensure he didn't just get Mask of Mirrors cast on him, unfortunately, unless anyone else can think of a better plan.) That won't completely clear him from being evil, but unless there is another Whitecloak (which we'll know by morning), he'll be at least soft-cleared because why would Gunshy detain him if he was going to be untargetable anyway?

Oh that's pretty cool Gamma.

Unless my memory is rubbish, I don't think I've really played with safe roles. Feel free to PM me if you have one of those :P

Well, there were safe roles in MR13 (the Companions), and you were in that. And the Shards in LG14 were technically safe roles, I think? So your memory is indeed rubbish. :P

I was expecting this.

So yeah, I think Elodin is a corrupted.  I have some thoughts on who Fain and the other person who got corrupted are, but I'll post them later once I've finished going through the posts.

How will we know if there's another Whitecloak?

My memories of LG14 consist of being terrible at the end, seeing loads of Les Miserable References when I haven't seen it, and writing a fancy letter to Cultivation :P

Offer about PMs are still open peeps. This is a once in a 48 hour opportunity.

I don't think there really is a good way to find out other than scanning until you find one (for Scanner(s) only).

From now on I will be scanning the person who got the second most votes.

Like I said earlier, don't tell the thread who you're scanning.

In LG14, they weren't safe roles. Only in LG10 and 21.

That's an interesting conclusion. I'm not sure why Fain would corrupt someone under so much suspicion... I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Unless you're saying you think he started as a Corrupted. Which... I mean, it's possible, and it's not against the rules, but I regard it as somewhat unlikely.

Because detainments are publicly announced. So if someone is detained, we'll see, and we'll know there's another Whitecloak. (Of course, we won't be able to prove that there's not another whitecloak if there isn't a detention because that Whitecloak could have been roleblocked or deliberately chosen not to detain someone for some strange reason. But it will be more likely.)

Oh, okay. I wasn't sure about that.

Hey everyone, I have a world history final, writ lit project, and computer science project all of which need to be submitted tomorrow. Basically, I might not have time to play. I'll try and check every once in awhile, but no promises

Why the storms would a safe role just go and PM someone who asked for it? In what world is that good strategy?

Hehehe, I remember those Companions... :P

You mean, you remember killing them? :P

In a world...

Where STINK is good...

And wants to help....

But can't do much in thread cause all the cool tuff happens when I'm sleeping...

So asks for PMs...

And gets denied...

Aka this world...

Who knew it...

 But, like, how does claiming to you help them?

Because then they feel that they don't have to claim to other people, or they can just straight up tell me who they have told their role to in case of their death, so I can do some pro Sherlock Holmes cosplay and find out who did it in a slow-mo scene where he looks around everywhere like 'X + Y = Z ergo KILLER!'

Also I already like don't trust you so stop trying to downplay my amazingness at getting roles when I want to like when you were the only one who claimed to me in a certain LG... :P
