Is Lunu‘anaki Hoid?

Lunu‘anaki is the Horneater god of travel and mischief according to Rock.  The following is a few paragraphs from WoR where Rock claims to have met him.  I'd use the spoiler tag but I can't seem to make it work.

Lunu‘anaki, Rock said, ―is god of travel and mischief. Very powerful god. He came from depths of peak ocean, from realm of gods.
What did he look like? Lopen asked, eyes wide.
Like person, Rock said. ―Maybe Alethi, though skin was lighter. Very angular face. Handsome, perhaps. With white hair.
Sigzil looked up sharply. ―White hair?
Yes, Rock said. ―Not grey, like old man, but white—yet he is young man. He spoke with me on shore. Ha! Made mockery of my beard. Asked what year it was, by Horneater calendar. Thought my name was funny. Very powerful god.
   Were you scared? Lopen asked.
No, of course not. Lunu‘anaki cannot hurt man. Is forbidden by other gods. Everyone knows this. Rock downed the rest of his second mug and raised it to the air, grinning and wagging it toward Ka again as she passed.
Lopen hurriedly drank the rest of his first mug. Sigzil looked troubled, and had only touched half of his drink. He stared at it, though when Moash asked him what was wrong, Sigzil made an excuse about being tired.

That sounds a lot like Hoid to me.  Sigzils reaction is just more proof for me since Hoid was his master training him to he a Worldsinger.  Also, could the "oceans" on the peaks as Rock calls them be shard pools?

I have heard BS confirm it in person, but here are a couple of WoBs that all but confirm it:

Interview: Feb 20th, 2016Question
I think someone asks if it’s Hoid coming out of the Horneater pool.
Brandon Sanderson
He’s never confirmed it but he’s strongly implied it. (I think he has confirmed it before, though). And then a lewd joke The Lopen would find hilarious.

Interview: Mar 22nd, 2014Question
Since Hoid is the Horneater god, are there, or at least implied, other Shards...
Brandon Sanderson

Hoid is not a Shard.Question

Or other Shards that are related to Hoid, since they are in the same time period. Would they also be Horneater gods?

Brandon Sanderson

I think that the Horneaters might interpret things very differently from their reality, as they are viewing things...

Question

So would they originally be from Roshar, or would they have traveled from somewhere else?

Brandon Sanderson

That's a RAFO, it depends on the person. Hoid is not originally from Roshar.

I don't think that lunu'anaki is necessarily Hoid, but it definitely was Hoid that came out of the shardpool. Rock just assumes it's lunu'anaki.

Eh, that's very clever! I feer that the answer will be is lunu'anaki Hoid in future books, but still!

Yeah, I think a better way to phrase is it that that specific appearance of Lunu'anaki is Hoid.

Probably Hoid inspired both Horneater and Purelake Mithology in his travel from and to Roshar

Yeah, he's probably been there lots of times over the course of centuries, if not millennia. And many of those times, he arrived at the Peaks.

It's interesting to think about what he's been doing there before, which events he made happen, or even stopped. We know he has something to do with the Worldsingers, but he could have done so much more.

I agree that the peaks may be his preferred route of entry. The description Rock gives as matter of fact about Lunu'anaki conspicuously includes a description of his mannerisms, as a "god of travelers and mischief who cannot hurt man". That last part is too accurate. He probably inspired the myth somehow.

On top of this, he requests a date in the Horneater calendar from Rock upon arrival. Specifically. I mean, he knew he'd be in Unkalaki territory, but then he could've just asked for a date of any sort expecting to give the one they prefer. Hoid can apparently understand Horneater dates, then. And would rather receive a date in that form rather than in the Vorin calendar, which he probably assumed they would also know.
