That specific sword is magical - the constant influx of Investiture magic keeps it whole. And it's being constantly sharpened when drawn - the angles are altered by a spell. So I hope it will slice things just like a hot knife through butter.

There are things that can resist that sword, but they are all almost exlusively in hands of other mages. So if the character in question decides to slice a tank in half, he will be able to. Of course, I didn't say nothing about him surviving the encounter, as usually approaching a tank by yourself is a very bad idea, magical swords or not...

@Oversleep the problem with cutting a tank is not to make the edge cut the metal but rather for the wider part to follow between two very heavy and solid pieces of metal. Unless the blade is magically pushed it will get stuck. Just like when you take a normal knife and try to cut through big chunk of cold butter. At first the edge of the knife cuts into the butter smoothly, but then friction between the sides and the butter kicks in and your knife is stuck.

Right. Haven't thought about that. It's actually better, because it won't be so storming OP.
Still, flesh won't be much a problem, but that's OK.

Sooo... everyone remember the song about the Witch I was writing yesterday?

I figured I could describe her by combining these two images

 

You know, the entire Raven feeding in the snow, with blood drops in the snow with the raven hair, ivory skin thing (My greatest weakness...)

Yes, the entire raven hair, ivory skin is kind of generic, but I think the cognitive dissonance you would get from describing something beautiful with something gruesome could be really cool... maybe...

I keep combos (as unrelated powers together) for later in the timeline. Right now nobody has the right knowledge to be able to have two different powers. Neither do I - I don't know how to make them possible. Yet. This would be a real gamechanger sometime in the future...

When I say combo, I mean like a character able to control wind and capable of foresight - these two powers do not have anything in common. But a character with control over wind, water and electricity is perfectly fine, as his ability is simply "storm". As long as you can think of a single (not far-fetched) denominator, it's fine.

Wait. I think I just realized how to foreshadow the possibility to combine abilities... Maybe.

I think I'll stop talking about my worldbuilding for now. If anyone wants to know more, I frequent Creation Daily. PMs are also welcomed.

Yep!  There are a couple of pulls on the front of the costume that allow me to open them.  It's a really simple lever design, too; not difficult at all.

Heh, I think you looked at it before I put in the second edit and added captions.  I managed to accidentally double-nest the spoilers, and now I can't fix it because new code weirdness.
